January's POV
"I'm uh. I just finished hanging out with Markus." I lied simply looking at her.
"Are you here to meet the texter person or did they leave?" April asked
"I've seen no one here and no I was going home." I shrugged. "You should be getting on the bus. I have to walk home. So I'll see ya tomorrow. Kay?"
"Okay, Sherlock." She said and began walking to the bus.
"Yeah Ghandi." I muttered as I walked away. Someone tapped my hair which made me turn around ready to punch someone and I saw that Mason kid.
"Nice seeing you January." He had on his signature smirkish smile.
"Very Funny Mason." I rolled my eyes.
"Are you waiting for someone?" He asked.
"No I was just saying goodbye to my friend." I shrugged as he then began to walk with me.
He nodded,"How about if you don't have anything planned for the moment...that we go to a burger place? And eat something?"
"I will only say yes because I am very hungry." I said and looked up at him
......
We had gone to the hamburger place. And we talked, we listened, we made jokes. And then when we were walking back he saw someone. A girl I think and said,"hey can you pretend to be my girlfriend for a second until that girl leaves?"
I thought for a moment,"...fine..."
The girl was of coarse, Katie Whitemore. She was I think most likely his ex girlfriend. So as she was looking at us.
I went on my tiptoes and slung my arm around Mason's neck and kissed his cheek. I could feel him smile then I pulled away as the girl scoffed.
Then Mason went and held my hand and I held his as we walked past her.
"Okay, now seeing her reaction was funny." He said and began laughing. I did the same and he then said,"you have dimples!' And poked my cheeks.
"No touching the dimps." I said slapping his hands away as he made a puppy face and I rolled my eyes.
....
We got to my small house and I hadn't realized that we were holding hands the whole time.
Mason noticed and I saw him blush a bit as we both then let go.
He then looked up at me as I was opening my door. "Hey how bout we do that again like tomorrow. But I mean that as in a real date. And I mean that as in can you go as my girlfriend?"
