April's POV
I got off at the bus stop and walked to my house. The sky darkened and it began to rain. I got home just as the down pour started.
I went up stairs to my room and put my back pack away and checked my phone. No threatening messages. I wasn't suprised because I didn't think much of it to begin with. Probably just a prank. Hopefully.
.........
My parents were on vacation for a few weeks and will be back soon, but for now I live basically alone. I don't mind. My parents take a pretty lot of vacations.
Anyway, I was watching tv (Teen Wolf) on my couch when I heard a knock on the door. I opened it. The guy from school, Isaac, was standing at my door completely soaked from the rain.
" its raining" he said
"i can tell.... Want to come in??" I stepped away from the door and he came in.
" What were you doing out there??" I asked him as I got a towel.
"i was taking a walk"
"in a tropical storm?"
"well, my parents were fighting again so I just wanted to get out."
"how did you know where I live?"
"I saw your address on Facebook" he said and I looked at him like 'wtf'
"I'm not a stalker. I swear I was just walking and saw your house. I'm completely normal"I laughed at him. " Want to finish that walk?" I asked him and he nodded.
We walked through the deluge of rain getting soaked but not caring and talking about how messed up our home life was and I told him about the text messages. He said not to make a big deal about it but to block the number anyway.
After we walked around for while Isaac walked me home.
"So I see our walks done." He said looking at me
"I guess it is." I said smiling at him. We were both soaked our hair was drenched and our clothes clung to our bodies.
He then pushed a strand of hair out of my face smiling,"I'll see you around April Showers. Maybe tomorrow at eight at the Nighthawk Restaurant?"
"Are you asking me out Isaac?" I asked with a smile.
"Yes." He smiled as he then ran off in the rain smiling like a goofy puppy.
......
I showered and changed my clothes then my phone beeped and I looked at the text:
Didn't think you would hear from me again
Its January. And I meant everything
I dropped my phone on the floor. She did this.
