Your POV

You groggily opened your eyes, greeted buy a bright light.

"Hello there, my names Sophie. I'm your nurse."

Nurse? You tried to sit up but your but your body was numb... The last thing you remembered was that boy... Juuzou? Was that it? He almost killed you... The unreal pain of being stabbed in the stomach dawned on you and you placed your hand on a stitched up wound on your tummy.

"Ugh..." You said as some nurses connected you to more machines.

You could hear the steadying sound of your heart beat on a monitor, it was fairly slow. Your cut had healed now and stopped stinging. Now making you overly greatful for your fast regeneration.

You were pulled out of your thoughts by the creak of a door opening, you opened your eyes and slowly tilted your head to the right towards the oak door and saw half of a childish face peering a at you around the door frame. You knew it was the boy from before but you hadn't seen him in light... He was really cute...

His smile spread as he skipped inside the room and closed the door quietly behind him. Why did he save you?

"Heya!" He said as he sat on a small stool by the bed. The nurses had left the room now.

"Why did you save me... I'm a ghoul... I 'shouldn't be here' right?.." You murmured, eyes half open and still laying on the cold hospital bed.

"Well... You are here... And I understand you need to eat humans to live... And obviously we don't like it cause we don't wanna get eaten up, y'see?" He said tapping his small foot and smiling, still.

"Didn't answer my question..."

" didn't need to... Hey, can you get up yet? I wanna show you around! This will be your home for a little while! "

You sat up and chuckled in disbelief.

"Home, what are you on about? I have people I need to help..." You said as you rubbed your eyes.

"It's fine... We can help 'em! What's your name anyway?" Juuzou said as he took a lock of your silky hair inbetween his fingers and started playing with it.

"(Y-y/n)..." You stuttered as a blush crept across your face.

"Well (y/n), let's go!" He said as he grabbed your hand. Dragging you away from the bed and out of the room, you had already unhooked yourself so no wires were constricting your movements. He took you out of the room, on his mission of showing you around.
