Reunited

Your POV

"(Y/n)..." You hear a quivering voice say from behind you.

You sat up and snapped your head round seeing touka stood by the door and Juuzous face peeking round the frame.

"Touka..." You said as you cupped your hands over your mouth.

"(Y/n)... Where have you been?" She said, voice shaking.

"Here... J- an investigator and I got into a fight and I got really hurt..."

Can't let her know it was juuzou who hurt me... She'd kill him.

"But I'm safe..." You whispered standing up from the bed.

"Safe... my (y/n)-chan is safe!"

You leaped up and tackled her to the floor and snuggled her, she giggled at your action and hugged you back.

"I got my touka back!" You giggled and stood up holding your hand out for touka to take yours.

She stood up slowly and wiped a tear away from her face.... You didn't realise she was that worried about you...

You slowly turned around and saw juuzou smiling at the door.

Why did he do this..?

"Juuzou..." You said looking at him, a smile plastered on your face.

"Mmhm?" He murmured, a cheeky grin on his lips.

"Why did you do this for us? We're ghouls and were supposed to hate each other..." You looked down to the white
floor, sadness building in your eyes.

"Well... I brought touka here cause I care about you and don't like to see you worried..." He started shuffling his feet.

He cares about me?

Touka looked at you both and a complexed look appeared on her forehead.

"(Y/n)... Are you with... Him?" She said firmly.

You and Juuzou had carried on talking so you couldn't quite hear her.

"Juuzou thank you so much! I could almost kiss you you!"

You jumped at him and swung your arms around his shoulders, and embraced in a tight hug, you heard him drop his knife and he hugged you back.

"Thank you..." You whispered smiling as you did.

"It's okay..." He said squeezing you tighter.

"(Y/n)!" Touka shouted.

You and juuzou had been hugging for a while now and toukas voice broke you apart.

"Yes touka?" You said concerned.

"Are you dating a CCG investigator?!"she shouted as she bawled her hands into tight fists.

'Juuzou saved me... And bought you back to me... I'm sowing my respect!" You shouted back.

"It looked like a lot more than respect!" She screamed. 

"Touka!" You grabbed one of her wrists but she broke away and stormed off towards Juuzou.

Juuzou grabbed a few knives from his shirt and threw them in toukas direction.

She dodged them.

Touka released her ukaku kagune and was ready to attack.

Before Juuzou had the chance to grab another knife she had pinned him to the wall. Her kagune gripping his throat.

He began gasping for air as she tightened her kagune even more.

"He's weak, (y/n)!" She shouted.

"He can't even fight me! I never usually kill!" She pulled him away from the wall and forcefully slammed him agains it. Colouring it with his Crimson blood.

"Stop touka your hurting him!" You cupped you hands over your face and tears streamed out.

You couldn't attack her you were still weak from your own encounter with Juuzou.

She stopped and looked you in the eye, both your eyes were red now, yours had changed from sheer anger and stress of seeing the one you were growning feelings for get hurt.

Touka slammed him into the wall three more times before your tears let you speak.

"Touka! Stop! I love him!" You screamed.

She snapped her dad around and dropped juuzou a unconscious body to the ground.

"You... What?" She asked.

"I love him..." You crawled toward his form laying on the ground.

Touka gave a grunt and left out of the smashed window.

You called for help and put pressure on his large head wound on the back of his skull, it painted his white hair red. 

An ambulance arrived and you left for the hospital refusing to let go of  juuzous hand, your eyes were still red and your tears fell on juuzous peaceful face, nobody minded as you were distraught, shinohara-San let you stay with Juuzou in the hospital, and since he kept you safe, you felt you had to do the same for him.

Even if it caused you pain.
