"Rose I'm scared." Said Julie not wanting to leave."It's alright, don't be afraid here's my number if anything goes wrong. I will always answer." I said as I handed her my number. "Promise?" Julie asked. "Promise. Love you! I will miss you." I said "I don't have to leave you know." She said you could tell Julie wanted me to tell her to go. "Yes you do its your dream to paint ever since mom...." I stammered. Crap why did I bring mom up. "Rose don't bring that up right before I leave." She said remembering mom. "I know but that's the only thing that kept her close to you." I whispered."Well that's not the only thing I have to remember her. You have her eyes you know." She said as she looked into my eyes. My eyes are bright blue with specks of gold.
"Well it's time to go or your going to miss your flight." I said trying to quickly change to subject. "I don't think..." She stammered "Don't think just go!" I exclaimed "Call me when you get there." I said "Okay. I will." She said like a promise.
After she left I had no choice but to cry. I couldn't hold it in any longer with her talking about mom and her leavening to Paris. That's to far away. Lynden to Paris that's to big of a leap for her what if she forgets about me. What if she forgets about her hometown. I don't think I can do this I need someone over.
"Hey Audrey what's up?" I texted as I was sitting on the couch. "Nothing much. What about you?" She replied knowing that something was up. She knows when I have something to tell her. "Well I need some help getting over my sister leaving." I said leaving out the mom part. "Okay girl just wait I will be over with everything we need." She exclaimed like she was excited to be in my drama. "Thanks girl." I said waiting for her arrival.
When Audrey came over everything changed I got over Julie leaving, us talking about mom, and I knew after that, that I would survive on my own.
