A P R I L

I was with Tej and Roman trying to get the thing open without putting out hand print on it. I sat down and reviewed some paper work while Tej and Roman were working.

"So how long you been with Brian?" Roman asked.

"Um, 2 years but I've known him for 7 years." I smiled.

"Damn and how old are you?" Roman asked.

"24."

"So you mean to tell me that you were only 17 when you first started dating him? He's 10 years older then you, so that made him 27 when he met you." Roman said.

"In my defense we didn't actually date yet, we were kinda just seeing each other. Plus a week after I met him I turned 18 so there wasn't nothing wrong with it."

"Mhmm."

"Whatever Roman, I like older guys, anyway." I responded. That's when Han and Giselle walked in and he had a piece of cloth in his hand.

"What's up?" Roman asked. He looked at the cloth. "I thought you were more of a thong man."

"We got the print." Han said.

Tej looked back. "Where?"

Giselle pulled out the black light and shined it on the cloth.

"Okay that's crazy." Roman said looking at it closer.

"So did he just slap that ass or did he just grab on and held onto it?" Tej asked jokingly.

I laughed along because that was pretty funny.

"Aye though, this will work." Tej grabbed the bikini bottom.

"I'm impressed." I smiled.

"Got it?" Giselle asked.

"Got it...but you still didn't answer the question." Tej asked making Giselle laugh and nod her head.

"Guys, guys! We have a problem!" I could hear Mia say. We all walked over.

"Yeah the whole team just got burnt." Brian said right after.

"Now we're all wanted." Mia sat back down. We surrounded her and looked at the screen.

"How did this happen?" I asked.

"US Diplomatic Security Service issued the warrants." Mia answered. "Agent L.Hobbs."

"Hold on a sec..." Brian said, "Hey Dom...is that the guy you saw at the favela?"

"Yeah..." Dom responded.

"Hobbs is the leader of the elite task force the DSS." Brian said.

"So he's good?" asked Tej.

"When the FBI wants to find somebody, that's who they call. Because he never misses his mark. This guy is Old Testament. Blood, bullets, wrath of God. That's his style." Brian said.

"And right now he's hunting us?" I asked a little bit worried.

"Dom we gotta get a move on our timeline." Han said.

"Yeah but how?" Roman asked. "This thing has already been more difficult without Wyatt Earp on our asses. If anything we need more room to breathe."

"Roman's right." Dom agreed. Everyone looked at him. "I think we need to get some fresh air."

We went out to where Dom and Brian went to go get to 'Papa Smurf' car. Where they were having an outdoor party. This reminded me of race wars a long time ago. God I miss this. I wore my tank top black batman crop top, my high waisted ripped denim shorts, my white chuck taylors, black long knee high socks, my hair frizzy, my makeup like always. Everyone was having a pretty good time, the team was talking about what they were gonna do with their part of the money.

"April and I are gonna buy a house together where we can start a family after we get married of course." He smiled. My smile faded a little bit but it was still there. Giselle looked at me and I just looked down.

"Babe, can I talk to you-"

"Toretto!" I heard someone say. We all turn around and look at the agent after us. Agent L. Hobbs. "You're under arrest."

"Arrest?" Dom asked. "I don't feel like I'm under arrest. How about you Brian?"

"No, not a bit." Brian responded as he sat on his smurf car and I saw on his lap. "Not even a little bit."

He wrapped his arm around my waist. "Just give it a minute, it'll sink in."

We looked at Hobbs. I couldn't help but notice the necklace around the woman next to Hobbs. She was wearing Letty's necklace.

"We didn't kill those feds, that was Reyes."

"I don't give a shit." Hobbs responded to Brian.

"Dom..." I whispered while Brian and Hobbs talked. He noticed the necklace too.

"I'm just hear to pick up the two assholes whose names hit my desk." Hobbs said.

"Yeah..." Brian said. "That sounds like a real hero."

"That's funny..." Hobbs came forwards. "From a guy who took the oath of a cop, then went against everything it stood for. Or some wannabe tough guy prick who beat a man half to death with a socket wrench!"

Hobbs was talking about Dom. 11 years ago when I met Dom, in jail, he opened up to me and told me about when he beat the shit out of a guy with a socket wrench and that put him in jail.

"Yeah real tough." Hobbs said. "You turn around and put your hands behind you back."

"I don't think so." Dom said walking up to Hobbs.

"You're mistake is thinking that you have a choice here, boy." Hobbs said, that's when the feds put there guns up. It made almost everyone uneasy, but we remained silent.

"And your mistake?" Dom looked at Hobbs. "Thinking you're in America. You're a long way from home. This is Brazil."

Dom put his hands up and everyone around us took out there gun and pointed it towards the feds and Hobbs. Brian and I chuckled and he pecked me on the cheek.

"Come on boss another day." a guy from the feds went up to Hobbs. I could see Dom smiling from here. "Come on, H, there's a lot of heat."

"I'll see you soon, Toretto..." Hobbs threatened.

"Look forward to it, cop." Dom said.

With that Hobbs, and his team left leaving us alone, for the mean time.
