Chapter Twenty Four

Autumns POV

It's Been Weeks Since I've Seen Derrick, And He Hasn't Found Out about my miscarriage yet. I'm still hurting and i have no one to comfort me. My bestfriend is gone away and I don't know when she's coming back because she hasn't talked to me in weeks and my baby is gone. I feel empty and I just don't feel like doing anything. I've been ignoring everyone's calls and only get out the bed to bathe and and I barely eat. I went downstairs to get some icecream and I heard a knock on the door. I quietly walked to the door and looked through the peep hole. It was my mom. I opened the door and we stared at each other for s moment until I busted out in tears and my mom walked in closed the door and we feel on the couch. I was crying at least thirty minutes when my mom finally got me to calm down and asked me what was wrong and millions of other questions. I don't know what came over me I just quietly said to my mom. "I-I Lost The Baby. "
"What honey, I'm so sorry, W-Wait you were pregnant. " I looked over at my mom and she was now in tears . I didn't have any tears left. I felt a couple tears fall but that's all . I got up to get some tissue and when I walked in my mom asked me, "Was It Derricks Baby? . I was shocked I almost peed my pants. I stared at her before looking to the ground. "How did you know. "
"Honey I'm not stupid I knew ever since my first day being here that you two had something going on. "
"Does Dad Know? "
" No not yet but you have to tell him soon or I will , because I don't like keeping secrets from him. "
"Yes Ma'am. "
"We are having a cookout today and were inviting some people over so get dressed I'm picking you up at 2 , I don't want you driving. "
" I don't want to go. "
"Did I say you had a choice. "
" fine. "
She gave me a hug and left. I looked at my phone and saw it was twelve. I cursed my breathe and went to find some clothes . I knew Derrick was going to be there and I think it's time that I face him . I walked in my closet and got my light blue highwaist jeans and a white crop top and a peach cardigan and I also put on my Brown sandals. I curled my hair and went downstairs to wait for my mom. About thirty minutes later I heard a horn and I got 3 strawberry banana yogurt and some oatmeal raisin cookies. And put them in my lunch bag. I hurried out the door and got in the car. " Hey Sweetie what's in that bag? "
" Nothing Just Some Yogurt and Cookies. "
" You have to eat real food Autumn and you know this. "
I didn't say anything just looked out the window until we made it to the house. I got out and walked into the house slowly. When I got in it was a few people in the house but a lot of people in the back yard. I went to go find my dad and saw him at the grill. When he saw me he drop his spatula and ran towards me. I embraced me into a hug and a asked," Where have you been you go M.I.A for weeks, I was worried but I'm not going to ruin today by fussing I want you too enjoy your self, but we will talk tonight."
" Yes Sir, I'm happy to see you too. " I walked with him to the grill and not soon after Derrick Came walking up. He looked at me then my stomach and I immediately walked away. I went upstairs to my room and I didn't know tears were coming down my face I went into the bathroom and put my head down at the sink just staring at my feet and tears flowing out my eyes. I Hated the fact that I miss Derrick so much, I hated the fact that my baby is gone and I don't have nobody to help me through it. I was deep in thought when I heard my mom call me downstairs. I cleaned my face up and went downstairs. Every one was in the back yard eating at the picnic tables. I found my mom and she said, "Honey you have to eat something. "
"Mom I have some yogurt and Cookies I'm not really hungry. "
" Honey you need to eat but I'm not going to force you,and did you at least tell Derrick about the baby?"
" No Mom, he doesn't want to talk to me so I guess he just won't know ."
" I doubt that he doesn't want to talk to you but he has the right to know. "
" I Know I Promise I Will Tell Him. " I didn't plan on telling him I just told my mom that to male her feel better.
" I Know you just saying that but you better tell him tonight. "
"Yes Ma'am. " I said and walked into the kitchen to get my yogurt and Cookies. I looked in the refrigerator and after 5 minutes of looking I finally found my cookies and yogurt. I went into the living room and sat down while everyone was outside. As I was finishing my yogurt I heard a voice that sounded familiar . I Looked back and saw Derrick Kissing a girl. But that wasn't the heart breaking part. It was who he was kissing. "V-Vicky?"
