I was walking from the archery range to my cabin. Someone tapped me on the shoulder. I quickly turned around. Will Solace, the son of Apollo, was standing behind me. "Um, I need to talk to you..." I knew Will from somewhere...But where? I followed him into the infirmary. "Okay, remember when Nico was killed? Um, I was the doctor that helped him..And, well, I don't know how I can say this..." Part of me hoped that Will helped Nico fake his death. But the rest of me knew his death was real. Will sighed. "Just say it!" He looked me in the eye. "I can't. You would hate me. And Nico." Could his death be fake? No, impossible. "Okay, fine. I'll say it. You weren't the only one who was upset about Nico's death." Okay, so his death was real. Then what else could it be? What else could Will be hiding. He mumbled something. "What? I can't understand you." He mumbled it again. I held my Stygian iron sword to his neck. "SAY IT OR ELSE!" "Okay, put the sword down!" "Not until you say it!" "I will! Put the sword down!" "Swear on the River Styx!" "Okay, I swear on the River Styx that I will say it if you put the sword down." I slowly lowered my sword. "Now say it!" Will sighed. "Do I have to?" "You swore. Say it or you get eternal punishment!" "Okay, don't hate me, but I had a crush on Nico." I stood in silence. "And that's not all..." I waited hopefully for Will to tell me that Nico was alive...somehow. "Nico liked me back. He told me. Do you hate me?" "No. Why would I hate you?" "You sound disappointed. Are you sure you don't hate me?" "I don't. It's just... I was hoping that you would say that Nico is alive." Will sighed. "I wish he was alive, too. He was so happy all the time. Can't you bring him back?" I was fighting tears. "I wish I could. But he chose rebirth. But I'll look for him for the rest of my life. And I will." Will smiled. "Can I help?" Would this really be a good decision? It's not that I don't like Will. He reminds me of Nico. Always so happy, optimistic, and always tried to see the best in everything. But how could I say no? But before I could think, I said yes. "Really? Thanks! I can't wait to help you find Nico's rebirth!" I started tearing up again. The smile, the look in his eyes, everything. He reminded me of Nico. I smiled. "I have to go back to my cabin!" I ran to my cabin as fast as I possibly could. I locked the door. My back slid down the door, tears streaming down my face. "Bianca, are you okay?" Hazel was pounding on the door. "No! Go away!" Hazel sighed. I heard footsteps running from the cabin. I looked at Nico's Mythomagic cards. I started crying more. I unlocked the door so Hazel could come back in later that night. I lied on my bed. I closed my eyes.
