Nico and Bianca: An Alternate Ending

The Hunters Return

This is the last part!

I was sitting in my cabin and looking through Nico's Mytomagic cards. I remembered the happy look in his eyes. For the first time in a while, I felt truly happy. But that didn't last. I put down he cards. Hazel ran into the cabin. "The Hunters of Artemis are here!" I remembered the Hunters from when I was brought to camp. I remembered how I couldn't join because I didn't want to leave Nico. Now that he is gone, I might join. Should I? Yes. I decided to join. Since Nico chose rebirth, I won't find him in the Underworld. I will have to find his rebirth. If I was immortal, I would have a higher chance of finding him. I ran out of my cabin to find Artemis. I found her talking to Thalia. Since Zoë died, Artemis needed a new hunter. So Thalia joined. When Artemis saw me, she smiled. "Bianca di Angelo, I would love to have you join the hunt. But if you don't want to, I understand." My eyes filled with tears. "I have no reason not to! I would have if I didn't want to stay with Nico! But now I can't be with him!" My voice was filled with sadness and anger because of all of the memories. That's when I realized-Nico died because of me. He wouldn't have died if that monster didn't attack me! I was mad at myself. If I had joined the hunt, he would still be alive. Why couldn't the monster have killed me instead? I looked at Artemis. She was waiting for me to answer her. "I'll join. Only because I have a chance to find Nico's rebirth." Artemis smiled. I always kept Nico's cards and figurines with me. One day while I was visiting camp about 10 years after I joined the hunt, I saw a boy with the same light in his eyes Nico had. I walked up to him. He looked at me. "Is your name Bianca?" I smiled and nodded. "My name is Nico! Hi, Bianca!" I hugged him. "Hello, little brother." "I'll be right back." I walked up to Artemis. "I'm quitting the hunt." I told her. "Okay. Why are you quitting?" "I found Nico's rebirth. I want to stay with him." Artemis nodded. I ran beck to Nico. "Hello again." Nico smiled. "Guess what? I am a son of Hades!" "I am a daughter of Hades." "That makes you my big sister!" I smiled. "More than you think. I have a story to tell you."
