Chapter Three- Jared

"Please Father, just let me, Luke, Jake and Seth go and find those rogues. I know we can find them and kill them or at least make them pay, if others hear about how you just let them waltze onto our land then we will have hundreds of them coming!" I pleeded with my father.

"No Jared, they are not worth it, I shall send somebody to keep an eye on them and take action if it is needed but I really don't think it is needed. I am the Alpha of this pack at the moment and you will do as I say and go to school." My father glared at me, I hated when he used his Alpha powers on me. I was only trying to do the right thing for the pack.

I reluctantly got up from the chair I was sitting on in my father's study. I had no choice but to follow my father's wishes and to go to school. I went and showered and 20 minutes later I was ready to go to school.

I went down to the kitchen and saw my three best friends stuffing their faces with anything and everything in their sights. As soon as I strolled in Luke, Jake and Seth all turned their heads to greet me.

"Hey man, how did it go with your father?" Seth asked me.

"Urgh" I groaned. "I must have spent like an hour trying to convince him that the rogues could be a real threat and that he should allow us to go and dispose of them but he just ignored me. He never takes me seriously, he needs to realise that one day I am going to be Alpha and at least listen to what I say to him!"

"Jared, don't worry about it, Alpha Collins could be right I mean they strolled onto our land and could have attacked us whilst they had the chance and they didn't, that must mean something. Maybe they didn't realise that this was our land? I mean two young rogues are not really much of a threat now are they?" Jake commented.

"No Jake they are not, but what if they were testing us and come back with a whole load of rogues? I don't know why but I have a bad feeling about this." I answered.

"Common Jared, your father has made his decision and there's nothing you can do about it so let's just go to school." Luke said.

I knew he was right, urgh why couldn't my life be simpler. I picked up my bag and headed for the door, shouting my goodbyes to my father like I usually do with Jake, Luke and Seth following closely behind me.

We all piled into Luke's car as he was our ride to school every morning. today it was my turn to ride the front and thank God for that. I don't think i could stand 15 minutes of making small talk with Seth or Jake, especially not after the morning I just had.

Things didn't get any better when the car pulled into the school car park, of course they didn't. Not when you're Jared Collins, son of Aplha Collins. Oh no, you had guys wanting to suck up to you and be your friend and girls willing to do anything for you just to get into your pants; come to think of it there were even some guys like that. Who doesn't want to say that they have slept with the Alpha's son?

Therefore when I stepped out of the car and everyone turned to stare and some desperate people actually came running to greet me. Nobody was phased by this as it was a normal occurance at Hillview School.

"Jarry, Jarry baby, I haven't seen you in forever and you still haven't paid me that visit that you promised," shrieked Cindy. There's a reason as to why I haven't; I don't want to sleep with you, ever. Why doesn't she get the message that I don't plan on sleeping with any of the girls here. Well, at least not the werewolves, if I needed my needs satisfied then I turned to the humans. There was less chance of one of them being my mate.

After saying goodbye to my friends, I hurriedly made my way accross the car park and into the school building, hoping that it would be safer there. Unfortunately, this was not the case, due to the narrow corridors and there being not many places to run, it made me an easier target than outside.
