Chapter Three

Chapter Three- Leah

I had just opened my wardrobe and was about to grumble to myself about my lack of clothes suitable for a party when I heard the doorbell ring. I glanced at my clock to see that it was excatly 7o'clock on the dot, which could only mean one thing. That the person who is outside my front door was Aria; she was always annoyingly punctual for everything.

I sprinted to the door and opened it hastily for her and engulfed her in a hug.

"Thank the Lord you're here Aria, seriously what am I supposed to wear to this stupid and pointles welcoming party?" I grumbled.

"I don't think that it is stupid or pointless, in fact I think that it is a great idea to make Russell feel welcome and a real part of our pack." Aria protested.

"Well, yes I guess you're right but let's face it nobody will miss me if I just don't go."

"I will miss you! I really need you here tonight Leah, please just come for me I know you must have the perfect outfit somewhere in that bulging wardrobe of yours so don't try and get out of it! Actually, I will drag you there naked if that's what it takes." Aria threatened.

"Now, now Aria, that's not very nice now is it? Would you really want to forecefully take your best friend to a party full or horny male werewolves?"

"Oh, that could be interesting," Aria smirked at the thought of that.

"Why do you want to go to it so much anyway? How many of these stupid pack parties have we been to?" Aria was confusing me tonight, normally she would have the same attitude as me and not want to go these parties but now she seemed up for it.

"I just do, now common let's go find you some clothes and I can show you mine," She lifted up her bag and waved it in my face then pushed me towards the stairs.

"Common Aria, show me what you're wearing because I haven't been to a welcoming party before, what are we meant to wear?" I started to panic, what if all of my clothes were not acceptable? I might actally have to go naked!

"Calm down Leah, it's just like a normal party! We have been to loads of parties so there's nothing to panic about silly," I started to breathe normally, of course it's just like a normal party.

"Of course, a normal party, if you show me what you're wearing I might get into the partying mood,"

"Fine," She said reluctantly and then she pulled out her dress, it was a blue, strapless dress with ruffle detailing. I clapped my hands and told her to quickly put it on so I could see her gorgeous body in it.

"I'm not putting it on until we find something for you," I sighed but agreed; Aria started the almost military procedure of looking through all of my clothes to find an outfit. I sat down on the bed and started to fiddle with the blankets whilst I waited patiently for Aria to finish finding me an outfit. After about 10 minutes of searching, Aria finally emerged from my wardrobe with dishevelled hair but holding a beautiful dark purple dress. The material was bunched at the top and in a criss cross design, it was flared out half way down which gave it a beautiful flowing look.

"Wow thank you so much Aria, you're the best friend any girl could ever ask for, the dress is amazing and I would never have thought to wear it!" I squealed whilst hugging Aria to death.

"You're very welcome Leah, let's quickly get ready!"

Once we both had put on our dresses and put on some make up I curled Aria's naturally straight hair into soft curls and she did the same for me and pinned half of my hair up. I then put on some black heels and we were ready to go.
