Sabrina's Pov

"SABRINA GET UP!"

I popped up from my beautiful sleep to the sound of Aliyah's loud voice. I stared at her confused as to why she had to yell. "It's time for breakfast." She said with a smile. I blinked at her and she left my room.

Things obviously have been different since she's been born. I haven't talked since my birthday, and Aliyah as a 4 year old was very curious. 50 times a day she'd ask, "Why no talk?" Or "Bri Bri why you no talk me?"

Then she grew older. Around the age of 8, she'd tease me saying that I didn't know how to talk, and that that made her "more grown up" than me. That only led to mama yelling at her, while I snuck upstairs and silently cried in my closet.

I got up from my bed and went into my closet, to gather my outfit. Today's my first day at a real school. High school. I was all for it to begin with, but I already know that this wouldn't work out. The past few days, I've prepped myself to be called names like "The Mute" or "Silento", as in the Watch Me guy. Yes... I made up names that bullies might call me. Anyway, I should be used to it right? I have to live with Aliyah after all.

I walk out of the closet and head to the bathroom to take a quick shower.

Once I'm all clean, I get out, lotion up, brush my teeth, and blah blah blah.

I put on my white t-shirt that says "FIERCE" in black letter, slip on my black leggings, and tie a black and white flannel onto my waist. After that, I walk back into the bathroom. I put leave-in conditioner into my thick, curly hair, and put half of it up. Then I walk towards my bed and pull out my black VANS, put them on, and head downstairs.

"Morning Bri." Daddy says, kissing me on my forehead before walking up the stairs. I walked into the kitchen and hugged mama from behind, like I always do.

"Hey baby." Mama says turning away from the stove and hugging me. I smile at her. We are now the same height. I stopped growing last year, so I'm stuck short, like my mom. I'm fine with that though.

I walk back around the bar and sat in my usual seat, next to Aliyah. "Excited for school girls?" Mama asked, putting plates of waffles and sausage in front of us.

"I'm so excited!" Aliyah screeched making me chuckle silently. "I can't wait to see Hazel!"
Hazel is Aliyah's best friend. They met in third grade, and now they're both going into Eighth Grade.

"What about Bri?" Aliyah asked, putting a piece of waffle into her mouth, before turning towards me.

I did the "kinda" motion with my hand and she nodded. "What if you get bullied for not talking?"
I shrugged my shoulders and took a bite of sausage, before looking at mama, who was giving Aliyah "the look."

"What?" Aliyah asked, with her mouth full of waffles.

I went on eating and I heard mama go upstairs.

Drake's Pov

I sat on Nicki and I's bed, on my laptop. I was reading an email from Wayne, about a new Young Money album that we're working on. "Aubrey?" I hear Nicki's soft voice come out of nowhere.

"Hey baby." I say, closing my laptop and patting the spot next to me. She crawled over her side of the bed and over to me. "What's up?"

"I was downstairs with the girls, talking to them about school." She spoke quietly. I nodded, kind of worried about the fact that I could tell that she was getting emotional.

Nicki was always a very emotional person. Not emotional as in crying a lot or about everything, but emotional thinking. She'd always look into this from all angles, and she'd think deeply about certain things. But after the incident, certain things, sounds, or even people could trigger her into thinking about what had happened, and cause a breakdown.

"Aliyah brought up the fact that Bri could get... Bullied." She said, whispering the last part. My eyes widened slightly at the thought. Neither of us had really talked or even thought about the fact that she really could get bullied. "I don't want her to end up having an anxiety attack at school Aub! It's been months since she's had one, and if she has one now, it could get worse." Nicki spoke quietly again. I could  hear the subtle cracks in her voice, causing me to bring her into a hug.

"Nicki calm down." I whisper while rubbing her back. "Sabrina is a strong kid. She's been through so much, so if something happens, chances are that she'll be able to handle it." I spoke in a soft voice. I felt her nod into my shoulder and she pulled away from the hug.

"I'm gonna go drop them off now." She whispered. I nodded, we kissed, and she left.

Nicki's Pov

"You guys have everything?" I ask once I reach the bottom of the stairs.

"Yup!" Aliyah says as she and her sister get up from the couch. I open the front door and hold it open while the slide on their backpacks.

We all pile into the car and we were off to Sabrina's high school first. I enrolled her into a semi-private school. A lot of celebrities' children go to the school, which makes me feel somewhat more comfortable.

I felt my body tense up as we parked into the parking lot of the school. "Okay baby." I say kissing her cheek. I giggle as she kissed my cheek in return. "I've talked to all of your teacher so you shouldn't have any problems with them." I say. She nods. "I see you after okay? You can always call me." She nods again before getting out of the car. I sat there until I couldn't see her, before pull out, and driving towards  Aliyah's school.

"Mom?" Aliyah asked. I hummed in response. "Why doesn't Sabrina talk?"

"You find out soon honey. It's a very sensitive subject." I answer.

"Is it just because she never learned?"

"Aliyah I already told you that that's not the case."

I heard her huff from the back, causing me to shake my head. "Mama Hazel might come over after school." Aliyah said once we were there.

"I don't care. Is she riding home with us?"

"Yes ma'am." I nodded and kissed her good-bye.
