One Month Later, Author's Pov

@NICKIMINAJ- Barbz are you ready for the surprise???

Nicki giggled at the sight of her mentions blowing up. As she scrolled down her timeline, all she saw was "Yes" "Nicki ofc" and "You better not be messing with our feelings."

@NICKIMINAJ- I'M GOING ON TOUR!!!

Before she knew it, #NICKIONTOUR began to trending all over social medias. Nicki smiled at the sight of her many fans spazzing and congratulating her about the news.

"Hey babe." Drake said, not quite snapping Nicki out of her trance. "Nicki?" He asked, snapping in her face.

"Boy if you don't your fingers out of my face." She shot at him, putting her phone down.

"Dang Nic I just wanted to see what you were up to." He said, taking a seat next to her.

"I'm doing something right now." She spoke, annoyed with her boyfriend.

"Nicki is everything alright?"

Nicki simply scoffed and left the room, leaving Drake confused.

Drake's Pov

I sat on the bed in complete and utter confusion. Why is she acting like this all of a sudden? "Nicki!" I shouted, as I began to follow her out of the room.

"Drake leave me alone." She said, continuing to walk down the stairs.

"Oh so you're calling me Drake now?"

"Don't get smart with me." She turned around at the bottom of the stairs. The look on her face scared me. She looked completely ticked off. The last time I saw her like this was the time some woman sat in out booth during out lunch.

Flashback

Nicki and I walked into the fancy restaurant, which had no paparazzi... on the inside. We sat in a booth kind of secluded from the other tables and we began a casual conversation. Just as we were changing the topic, a woman comes out of nowhere and sits in our booth, on the vacant side.

"Nicki I love you so much!" She exclaimed.

I looked at Nicki, who had a look of pure annoyance and disgust on her face. I did my best not to laugh in the moment because I knew it'd get my butt whooped.

"Um.. yeah thanks." She said with a fake smiled. I held in a laugh as I watched my girlfriend become more and more annoyed at the woman.

"Can I get a picture?" The woman asked.

"I'm kind of trying to eat dinner with my man." Nicki spoke through clenched teeth. Her annoyance was no longer hidden and she looked like she was about to slap the woman.

The woman took the hint and quickly going away, leaving me with an annoyed Nicki.

Flashback Over

I followed Nicki as she stomped into the kitchen and began to get some things out for lunch. I gently grabbed her hand and pulled her with me. I stopped in the living room to talk to Bri. "Bri your mom and I will be right back. Keep an eye on your sister." I said. She nodded with a smile, making me smile back. I love that girl.

Nicki was silent as I held her hand, and walked her out to my car. Knowing Nicki, she'd usually be yelling and hitting me because I'm practically dragging her out here. But she hasn't said a word, only making me worried about her.

She walked towards the passenger side of the car, and I got into the driver's side. I looked over at her, once I was situated, and saw the she had her seat belt on with her hands folded in her lap, and she was looking out the window.

I started the car and took the highway. I decide to take her to the beach. I know that she absolutely loves the water and the sound of the waves, so it seemed like the perfect place to take her.

I drove with one hand on the wheel and the other resting on my lap. I kept my eyes on the road, and drove at a good pace. The beach wasn't very far from their house. They've all just been extra busy lately.

Out of nowhere, I felt Nicki's small hand latch onto mine. A small smile made its way onto my face, but I kept my eyes on the road.

I heard Nicki take a long, deep sigh, and I squeezed her hand. She squeezed it back, but held it there.

We finally arrived at the private beach and I smiled. "Come baby." I said once I made it to her side of the car. I held my hand out for her to take as she hopped out of the car, and we walked towards the shore.

We used to always come here. The whole family loves it here. Since Aliyah turned 5, we used to come here every other weekend.

It was quiet here, with no paparazzi. No one to judge you. You scream and cry at the top of your lungs, or laugh and sing as loud as you could. It didn't matter, which is why we liked it here.

"Is this okay?" I ask Nicki, stopping at a spot somewhat close to the shore. She quietly nodded and we sat down.

We sat in silence. I didn't directly stare at her, since I didn't want it to be awkward for her, but I kept my eye on her.

She just sat there staring at the waves come in and out.

"Nicki?" I finally whispered, breaking the silence. She turned towards me, her eyes going right to mines.

I stared into the deep, brown orbs, trying to read them. They were slightly glistening, but I didn't know why. But soon, I realized that they were beginning to fill with tears. She finally turned away, making me reach for hand. "What's up baby?"

She shook her head and looked back at the ocean, with slow tears rolling down her cheeks. "I don't know..."

"Try to talk to me." I urged, as she wiped away the tears.

She turned towards me, with new tears coming out of her eyes. I frowned and placed my hand on her shoulder. Out of nowhere, she climbed into my lap. She straddled and hugged me, burying her face into my shoulder. I sighed, rubbing her back, as I felt tears start to seep into my shirt.

I stayed silent and just held her, letting her release her emotions.

Minutes passed before she finally pulled away, and wiped away the rest of her tears. She looked into my eyes, before smashing her lips onto mine.

It lasted for a minute or two, before she pulled back and hugged me again. "Thank you Aub." She spoke lowly.

"Anytime baby. Feeling better?" I asked her. She nodded with a small smile on her face.
