I was about to text Brian and I realized I didn't have a contact for him. I smirked and changed his contact to : Brian💕 then I texted him
-hey Brian I'm getting ready now. I'll see you soon😉-
"Mara! Come in the kitchen I want to show you something!" Yelled my mom from the kitchen. "Coming!" I said as I put my phone in my boot. I started to walk towards the door when I slipped and my elbow hit the dresser. "OUCH!!!" I yelled grasping my elbow in pain. I sat on the bed scared to look at my elbow. My mom rushed into my room. "Are you ok sweetie?" My mom asked. "I wish I could say yes" I replied.
Hesitating, I uncovered my hand from my elbow. I immediately regretted looking. I had an open gash and I could see my bone. "We need to get you to the hospital!" Worried my mom. I picked up my phone and turned it on so I could cancel the date. I had a text from Brian.
-can't wait😍-
I was filled with sorrow as I texted him back:
-sorry but I have to cancel. I just busted the bone out of my elbow! You're welcome to come visit me at the hospital if you would like to-
We rushed to the hospital and in the waiting room I got another text from Brian.
