chapter 19

Chapter 19 

We all settle down at Rupa's Aunt's place. Hardhik and I sit in our room as I start to unpack my suitcase. 

"Honey, I have some good news." Says Hardhik. 

"Oh what is it?" I say. 

"Well remember I told you that I had an idea of how we can make sure that my Aunt won't be able to interfere with our lives anymore. It's finally done. The plan worked." He says. 

"What? Really! Oh my God." I say as I look at him shocked. 

"Yes. Remember I was talking to Raj at the restaurant the other day when you girls asked us what we were up too. Well we did it or rather he did it. You know he is an expert hacker right? Well I told him to hack in to her phone and her laptop and delete everything. Also I told you that she was already in trouble because she was having an affair with someone but there was no concrete proof so they send an accidental mms to her husband's phone where she was clearly doing it with the guy. After talking to the guy he confessed that she forcefully making him do this. I don't want to bore you with the details but long story short she is going to be punished by the law and he is divorcing her." Says Hardhik. 

Oh my! I am shocked. That woman is so sick. I never knew women like that ever existed. Hopefully her husband and kids will get through this fine. She did get what she deserved. As they say, 'what goes around, comes around.' Frankly I don't feel bad for her and I have a right not to either because what she did was wrong.  

"That's good Hardhik. I hate that woman for ruining our lives but I hope your uncle and cousins will be fine. Did your parents find out about it?" I ask. 

"Yes. They are siding with my uncle obviously and taking care of my cousins." He says. 

I sit beside him and hold him close to me. I was worried that she might do something again but I can finally put that behind me. Life is perfect right now though a little part of brain is telling me no to jinx that.  

The wedding was on Friday in the afternoon and a little later in the evening the reception is to take place. 

On Thursday we all girls gather in one room to apply henna and talk and have fun basically. 

"So Rupa tell me one thing about Ajay which you don't like?" asks Sarah. 

"What? I am marrying him I can't do that." She says. 

"Oh but you have to. It's our girl's night." says Naina. 

"Well alright. He has this bad habit of signing along to each every song which comes on T.V I mean even if he doesn't know the lyrics he just utters some rubbish. It really pisses me off sometimes." She says 

"Oh my God really! That would annoy me too because I hate it when someone sings the wrong lyric to my favorite songs." I say. 

"So what are guys going to do on your honeymoon?" asks Naina. 

Sarah, Sindhu and I burst out laughing. Rupa joins in our laugher as well. 

"Honey, what do you think they will do?" says Sindhu smirking at her. 

"Oh sorry! I know about that! What I meant was other than that where are you guys going?" she says slightly flushed. 

The thing is in college Naina, Sindhu and I had this pact that we would lose our virginity only after getting married. You know like a purity ring thingy or pact.
