The bus was coming to a stop; the 4 hours were over. It's time to find my brother. I jump out of my seat, and shove everything in my bag, and slip my phone into my pocket. I start walking down the aisle of the bus, but Jane grabs my arm "I used to have those dreams" she whispers into my ear. I look up "I thought i was the only one" I whisper back. She smiles, and shakes her head. She walks out of the bus, saying nothing else.
I breathe in a gulp of air and start walking, wondering what I am going to say to Adam. He probably won't even recognise me, the last time he saw me I was 10 years old, and I look completely different now. I looked on my phone for the directions to the college; it wasn't that far away from where I was now. I started walking towards the college. I'm hoping I can find his dorm room and he would be in there. I'm hoping that he would open the door and recognise me straight away and grab me into a big hug. I'm hoping... he will love me.
Once I arrive, I'm out of breath; I ran most of the way. My feet are sore, and are covered in blisters. I open up the doors of the college, and walk inside. I go straight to the front desk "Hi, how may I help you" A woman looks up at me, her eyebrows go up slightly. "Hi, I'm looking for someone, my brother, Adam" I explain, shyly. I look away from her. "There are a lot of Adam's that go here, please be specific" She says, shooting daggers towards me. "Adam Freeman" I say. She starts typing on her computer. "So, this Adam Freeman is your brother" She says, as if she didn't believe me. I nod "Yes" She picks up her phone and dials a number "Hi, is Adam in his bedroom, or is he in class" She says into the phone. She nods, and talks for a few more minutes. I wait kind of impatiently. "Yes, okay. Adam isn't in class or in his bedroom, so I don't know where he is" She says to me. I nod, looking down at the ground "Thank you for your help, I appreciate it" even though she didn't find him for me, I need to use good manners. "Well, maybe you can wait outside of his dorm, its room 605" She yells out to me. I twirl around, and smile "Thank you, miss" I run upstairs as fast as I can, and run down to room 605. I knock on the door, just in case the woman was wrong about him not being in his dorm room. No one answers. I sigh and sit down next to the door. Next thing I know; I have fallen asleep. Which I said I wasn't going to do.
I'm back in the dream again, the creature is coming towards me "Not yet" I whimper "Please" I cry out. "JESUS HELP ME" I scream, finally, angrily.
I wake up, and I hug my knees close to me. "Um..." I hear someone say. I look at my watch, which told me I had been sleeping for half an hour. I look up to see a tall, handsome guy with dark brown hair. "Are you okay?" the guy asks. I nod, awkwardly standing up. "Why are you in front of my dorm?" He asks. I look at him, then at the door. "I'm looking for Adam" I mumble, sadly. He stares at me "I'm Adam..." he says. I look up quickly, and run towards him, wrapping my arms around him tightly. He doesn't hug me back. I let go and walk backwards, moving away from him. "Who are you" he looks uncomfortable, and his face is red. "My name is Bella, Bella Freeman...your sister?" I explain. His eyes widen, and he stares at me. It's as if he didn't want to believe me. "I thought you were dead" He says, he starts crying. I look at him "Excuse me?" I say. "Mum said you were dead" He mumbles. I couldn't keep my mouth closed, I didn't even know what to say, what did he mean dead. "I'm pretty sure I'm not dead" I say, kicking a pencil that was left on the ground. He just stares at me. "Yeah, I can see that" He mumbles, grabbing out a key and unlocking the door to his dorm. "Come in" he yelled out from inside.
I expected to see a messy room, because I heard boys are normally really messy. But it was super clean, and organised, just like how my room is. I smile, so far we have 1 thing in common. There were 2 beds, which probably meant that he had a roommate. "So, how long did you travel" he asks, sitting on his bed. "4 hours, mum doesn't know" I say. He looks at me, and nods.
"Mum never liked me very much, I always argued with her, and got angry at her when she didn't help you with your dreams, do you still get those dreams" he explains.
