This life is not a lie
You're simply masking the truth
She says she wants to die
I say, "Where's the proof?"
She tells me she's in love
Yet she leaves him in the end
She claims that he's the one
And dares to call me "friend"
I cry under the sheets
And smile when she's around
She's got pearly white teeth
Yet she's six feet underground
I start to think "to be a good person is to be kind,"
But your definition of good is now what once was mine
I'm slowly falling out of love
And now I understand
Love doesn't exist
It never will
It never can
