Patience is a lake that sits calmly. Patience is the cure to the anger one feels when one is tempted by others. Patience preserves relationships.
The Hometown Warrior
Emerging victorious from the battle, Warrior descended from the mountain and returned to his daily routine. He was confused, he expected more... He had been advised to celebrate, and so he did.
The celebration was grand. Old friends lit up his right side and new friends lit up his left. However, he still felt incomplete- like he was searching for something... Or someone, and that's when he saw her... Queen.
The Foreign Queen
(M1 - P1)
Skepticism and doubt yielded to premonition and faith as he approached her straight away. He moved swiftly as if he knew exactly who she was, and he could tell by her gracefully elegant demeanor that she did not. As they began to speak he noticed a small hint of a smile begin to form on her face. Just the sight of her beautiful face lighting up with joy and the thought of making Queen smile was enough to make Warrior feel at peace. That's what was missing, that's what he was searching for... He had won the battle, but had not yet attained peace. He felt as though she contained his piece. He took a deep, joyous sigh of relief as Queen enthralled him with her wisdom. He marveled at her words and took great pleasure in their conversation. He wanted the conversation to last for longer, but as quickly as the moment had arisen... It was gone.
She was being pulled away from him faster than he could even process the situation. Fear triggered his warrior impulses to life, but he utilized good self control to suppress them. He knew he needed something to keep the connection with her alive but his emotions were beginning to block his ability to think logically. He felt as though half of his heart was being ripped right through his chest- one half was willing; succumbing to the compulsion, but the other half remained grounded, rooted in experience and equanimity. As she moved further and further away, the Warrior finally whispered a plea for help, his pride would never have allowed it, but this was a battle that he was not equipped to fight alone. "I want to continue this conversation.." was all he could utter.
Queen was expedient in her response. A simple yet effective gesture empowered Warrior to get back to his senses. He reached for his note pad, and so began the story of the Warrior and the Queen...
Enter Utagai
Days passed by and Warrior grew weary, he longed to see Queen's warm, inviting face again and listen to the sound of her voice. Queen was a very busy woman, she did not sit around like most self-proclaimed queens, she worked very hard for her place in the Kingdom and she was always consistent. Queen began to grow fond of Warrior, every so often she would think of him throughout the business of her day. "Maybe..." She thought, and with that she began to wonder now if it were possible to partner with the Warrior and build on her fortress.
"A Warrior is not fit to rule with a Queen." Whispered Utagai. "And while we're on the subject of Queens...who told you that this girl was a queen? was it NarrowThinker? Ha! I implore you to turn your head away from this foreign mischief and focus on the money... She is the real queen and key to power." Utagai, had fallen with Lucifer in the rebellion. He now rules in a realm where sanity is foreign. He actually began to usurp authority among the rest of the fallen figments. His influence was so powerful that he had even convinced NarrowThinker into referring to him as a figment- which is to say his existence is not. This does not mean that he doesn't exist, it means that he is the type of being that exists in a non-sentient form. His goal is to try and make manifest the theory of non-existence.
One cannot doubt the existence of God without fully doubting the existence of themselves. If God does not exist, then there is no being higher than man in the entire realm of being. If there is no being higher than man in the entire realm of being than man does not exist. The logic goes as such; If nothing is higher than man in the entire realm of being, then man is God to everything that exists. If man is God to everything that exists- then man does not exist- for man is existence itself. - NarrowThinker
Enter Jiko Kiritsu
(P1)
Agape could see that Warrior was beginning to lose control so He sent forth Kiritsu. Kiritsu worked very fast. As soon as Agape had given him his instructions he traveled to his domain and explained his mission to Sympónia, his partner. Sympónia wanted to join him, but he would not allow it. He felt as though the mission was too dangerous. He would never forgive himself if he allowed her to accompany him, and she ended up getting hurt, or worse.
Kiritsu traveled fast, but even his speed began to give out as he searched for Utagai. By the time that he finally found Utagai he was weary from his journey. He drew his sword as soon as he laid eyes upon Utagai. One thing he did not realize was that Utagai had already poisoned the air. Kiritsu began to cough and his vision blurred. As the coughing turned to choking, he observed Utagai. Utagai was a strange looking being, he stared at Kiritsu and his gaze distracted Kiritsu from the fact that he was transforming into a beast. Utagai held his gaze as his body grew covered in armor. Kiritsu lunged in the direction of the beast, but he missed by a few feet. He was now suffocating, struggling to take small breaths. He knew that he had to call for help. But now Utagai would deliver the final blow.
"Why call for help now? Are you at your limit?" Utagai asked.
"Do not speak to me... your tongue is a snake and your words are its venom!" Kiritsu replied.
"What a disappointment... you fought hard for a few moments and instantly called for help. I'm sure your commander would not be proud."
Kiritsu did not reply.
"Ahhh, but you are breathing now right? Come Kiritsu, you are stronger than this, pull yourself together sir!"
Kiritsu noticed that he was no longer choking, he liked this feeling of control. He didn't even have to call for help. He was self-sufficient. He was manipulated by Utagai to turn against Agape.
In his manipulated form he went by the name of Jiko Kiritsu. This persuaded Agape to send Michael.
