~Ariel's POV~

I woke up to the sound of a music box.

It was pretty, just chime after chime. Mommy use to play one like that. But she left a long time ago.

I opened my eyes and looked around. Daddy was in front of me watching the T.V. So he wouldn't see me, got up and tip-toed behind him to the door. It was dark, so I grabbed a nearby flashlight and turned it on.

I started walking down the hallway.

There were animals everywhere! Bunnies, chickens, and bears! I run to them to get a better look. They kinda look like humans, like that pentatonix band that mommy liked.

The bunny was Mitch; the chicken (or is it a duck?) was Kirstie; and the bear--

*step, step, step*

I froze. What was that? Did I imagine it? Yes, just my brain.

*step, step, step*

No, it's real. I slowly turn around to see what it is.

A fox, but it looked like another member of the pentatonix, but scarier. As soon as it's jaw started moving, I ran.

"Hey, little girl, I'm not going to hurt you!"

I stop. He sounded like Avi. I turn towards him with a questioning look. He looks like him too.
I shine my light on him, and he shrieks. The other animal's eyes open. The duck (or chicken)
gets to him first.

"What's wrong, F-F-o-- Avi?" She asked.

He was Avi!

"N-nothing C-C-h-- Kirstie. J-just a k-kid with a f-f-flashlight." Avi replied, rubbing his eyes. Kirstie turned her head towards me.

"Are y-you t-t-the k-kid?" I nod my head, scared about what is going to happen.

Sorry about the short chapter. Trust me, they will get longer as the story progresses.

Aviouslykaty and I are taking turns on the chapters. We are basically doing finish the story.

Anyway, what do you guys think about the book so far? What do you think is going to happen next? There will be an update every Sunday, and towards the end of the book, every Wensday and Sunday.

Also, do you guys know any good books? I haven't been able to find a good one lately.
