A/N
1. This photo fits this chapter way too well.
2. This chapter is very emotional, feel free to grab some tissues before you read.
3. And finally, I advise you to listen to 'say something' by a great big world on repeat while you read this.

Amelia was still recovering from the shock of finding out that she was pregnant, when yet another bomb exploded upon her. Moira had released a live announcement, stating that she had helped Malcolm Merlyn with his plan to demolish the glades.

Seething, Amelia turned off the television and fired the remote across the room. She was home alone, and had been avoiding Oliver all week. That wasn't exactly surprising. She grabbed her phone and punched in Tommy's number. He picked up after the first ring.

"Tommy, please tell me Laurel is with you." She pleaded.

True, it was devastating to find out that your other half was in love with your best friend, but that still didn't mean that Amelia didn't care about Laurel. Tommy was also in the exact same predicament. But love was not a switch, therefore it couldn't be turned off at will.

"I was just about to ring you and ask you the same thing." He sighed.

"Dammit." She swore. "Look Tommy I've got to go. Stay safe, I love you." She told him.

"I love you too Mia." He whispered.

Amelia hung up and clenched her jaw, blinking back tears. It was time to pay the glades a visit. Or at least what was left of it.

She ran out the door, slamming it shut behind her. Amelia drove as fast as she could, breaking every speed limit. Not that she cared, there were much bigger things at risk than getting a ticket.

When she arrived at the glades, she was horrified at the sight before her. It was complete chaos. Buildings had been reduced to rubble and men, women and children were screaming for help. Amelia knew what she was about to do was dangerous. She knew that she could lose the baby, or even lose her own life.

She placed a hand on her stomach, and rubbed it slightly. "Stay with me, okay? Don't leave mummy." She cooed.

Taking out her phone one last time she dialled Felicity's number. "Mia, are you okay? Is the baby okay?" Her sister asked frantically.

"Lic, we are fine. Are you okay, you're not hurt?"

"No. Most of the damage is in the east side." Her sister told her.

"I - I know." Amelia replied, her voice breaking.

Felicity was silent momentarily. "Mia, where are you?" She asked, her voice breaking.

"I think you already know the answer to that Felicity."

"Mia, please no. Go home." Her twin begged.

"I'm sorry, I can't. I have to save Laurel, I need to know she's safe."

"Amelia." Her sister cried.

"I love you Felicity."

"Mia no -"

Amelia hung up the phone, sliding it into her back pocket. She ventured further into the swirls of colours amongst the glades. Flames slithered along the brick walls, and smoke floated triumphantly through the sky.

She made her way to where her and Laurel worked, and was relieved to find that it was still intact. She entered the building and her eyes scanned the room, attempting to find Laurel. Eventually she did, there the brunette stood, tears streaming down her face as she held her phone to her ear.
