Just so we're clear, Kuroko and Akashi's are like best friends who tell everything to each other in different ways . They do sexual interactions with each other but they don't think once about dating. As the GOM tries to knock some sense into of them, the two happen to be stubborn about their feelings towards each other and come up with an excuse of denial. As the GOM try to sort Akakuro, some also start developing feelings for Kuroko.

DURING LUNCH PERIOD
"You managed to get here Akashi, who drove you in 6 hours?", Mayazumi says as he ate his sushi.
"I called my private driver at 7 during the festival to come pick me up at 2 in the morning then after he came, I left", Akashi explained to him.
"You know that we're visiting Seirin High tomorrow, are you going back to Kuroko's house after school?", Mayazumi pressed his sushi in the spicy soy sauce container then shoves it in his mouth.

"Whats the point going back to my fathers", Akashi rolled his eyes, watching his Rakuzan phantom man eat his California sushi roll.
"If Kuroko told you to ever go home, I'm on his side", Mayazumi burps.
"I wouldn't be much obligate to have Kuroko meet eyes with my father", Akashi covers his nose with his hand.
"Heh, why are your former teammates up against you when you're protecting your little princess, Kuroko?", Mayazumi smirks.
Akashi stays silent.
"Don't you fear that your friends are going to hate you?", Mayazumi adds.
"I don't fear anything", Akashi shoots him a cold glare.
"All you told me was that you're going to leave Kyoto to Tokyo for your fathers job. Why act up like a dramatic brat when you could have just told them simply?", Mayazumi gave Akashi his cold lifeless grey eyes.
"Excuse me?", Akashi stared at his phantom player waiting for an answer.

"From the rumours I've heard about the GOM, you all had hopeless minds, thirst for victory. Because of you Akashi, you had influence on your team. You only led them to victory without feeling victorious in the inside but Kuroko had a little hope inside of him while you guys were crushing it. Don't you fear that if you happen to bring those actions from the past to the present, your formers would follow you, dragging Kuroko along all over again?", Mayazumi picked up his last sushi with his chopsticks.

"No. Those actions from the past wouldn't even reach to the present once I leave", Akashi stood up from his seat.

The bell starts to ring loudly.
Lunch was now over and they both had Language arts together.
They both head to class and quietly sat at their assigned desk.
Akashi in front of Mayazumi.

The teacher walks into the class and sits on her desk, crossing her legs.
The class begins with the teacher asking a bunch of Japanese - English translation questions.

"It means 'May I go to the washroom' ", Akashi answers plainly. Every question has been answered by Akashi. No one ever raised their hand or had the confidence to answer in front of Akashi.
"You are one intelligent student", the teacher squeals then she starts writing vocabularies on the chalkboard.

"Whats your relationship with Kuroko?", Mayazumi whispers, tapping Akashi's shoulder.
"..my relationship?", Akashi echoed.

"Are you guys like..friends? A couple?", Mayazumi pressures him, holding his finger on Akashi's shoulder.
"If you don't have an answer to my question, it's your decision whether you guys are friends or a couple. You're Akashi Seijuro"
Mayazumi takes a pause then speaks again,
"But if you've been doing sexual stuff together, you're considered a couple or friends with benefits"
....
"Am I right, Akashi?"
