A/N: okay okay. I know it's been awhile since I've posted anything and I'm giving you this short part, but I decided that today was the best day.

"Alright, we're almost there." Killian cleared his throat. "Three steps forward." He guided me forward with his hand and hook on my hips. His teeth grazed my neck.

"I can't concentrate with you doing that," I squeaked. "Though...it is nice."

Killian laughed loudly as he ripped the fabric that shaded my gaze. "You can look now."

I lost my breath at the sight. A house stood in front of us, a stone path leading up to the front door. It was two stories high and red curtains were slid over the windows, blocking any light from coming into it. It didn't allow me to see the inside, though. It was the most beautiful house I had ever seen with its wood and brick walls and a pond that laid next to it. Not to mention the flowers. Flowers of every color, shape, and height. None of this felt real like this was another dream...like Killian himself wasn't real. I looked back at him and pinched my leg without him seeing. Nope, not a dream. "How?" Was all I said.

"Well. This is where I've been with David. Are you sorry for complaining so much now?"

"I suppose."

Killan pulled a strand of hair away from my face. "A group of us worked very hard and saved up money for materials. The group consisted of David, myself, the Dwarves, and the Crocodile. Suprising right?"

"I guess he's changed," I replied.

"It won't last long I'm sure. Anyway, we all helped build this place for you and I to live in. No more staying with your grandmother."

Placing my hand on my heart I whispered, "Killian...you didn't have to do this."

"Yes...yes I did." He placed his hand in mine and introduced the house to me.

Killian showed me up to our room, the room with the red curtains. There are no words in this world to describe how beautiful this house was. Beautiful from the two and a half bathrooms, two guest bedrooms, three walk in closets, the master suite...all of it. The colors that were chosen gave the house a feeling of fall with the warm and crisp shades of brown, gold, yellow, orange, and red. "Woah. You sure know how to impress a woman." There was no reply, and when I spun around to see if he was still there, I found he was. The pirate examined me with sad, lost, blue eyes. "Killian what's wrong?"

He only gave me a soft smile. "Nothing, Love. Don't worry about it."

"Are you sure?" I questioned, wrapping my arms around him.

His sadness almost raidiated off of him. "Yes. It's nothing." He was lying to me, straight through the teeth of a false smile. I let him go with a sigh, I wasn't going to push him. "There are books in here too."

I was able to suppress a chuckle. "I hope you're not getting me confused with Belle."

"No. I mean there are books for you to read to me. There are all kinds of books like poetry and stuff." I could see the sparkle in his eyes, the sorrow aging his whole face, not to mention he was sagging. "Don't worry about me Love. I'm just cold." There it was again, a lie. Why was he lying?

I turned my back to him and bit my tongue as to not say anything. I appeared only to be watching the room more closely. The bed creaked as my new husband fell onto it. "Are you alright, Ruby?"

This was my chance to lie back to him, and I did. I looked him right in the face. "Yes."
