Strange Things

Chapter one

"Beep beep" I wake up to the sound of my phone. Its 3am who could possibly be texting me this late. I click into the text & it says unknown number & a message saying "Hello you have a friend request from a anonymous person , please reply back or if not get charged 10 dollars"
I think for a second. A friend request from where and who ? This must be a scam. I walk to my brothers room and knock on the door. Yo bruh you still up
"Yeah scar, come in wassup" He says.
Well I'm getting unusual texts from a unknown number.
"Uhm-" Before he can finish we hear this scratching sound on the window.
What the hell was that!!?? You better not be pulling one of your little corny ass pranks on me again Luis.
"Dude I swear I'm not , idk I've been hearing that noise all night that's why I'm still up in the first place cuz you know my bum ahh would be sleeping already n not be waking up till 1pm the next day" He laughed.
Haha true. I Look out the window & see a pair of eyes.
AHHHH I scream.
Luis starts bursting out laughing. "Chill it's just the neighbors cat again I was messing around with you"
Wow. So I guess that explains the mysterious texts those are from you too ?
"No that I don't know anything of "
Well are you gonna help me figure it out or what.
" tommorrow let's go to bed ok. Goodnight Scarlett don't stress over it , its probably jus one of your friends from school"
Yeah right I think , what friends since my parents died I didn't go to school much so i was a loner.
I say goodnight to Luis n walk back to my room. I lay in bed n keep re-reading the text over n over again in till I knock back out.

"Ring ring" the alarm clock goes off. I rub my eyes n look at my phone with blury vision. I look for the text n its gone! I didn't delete it , what happened was that all a dream ? I get up & run to Luis room. Dude! I yell Do you remember what I was telling you about last night!?
" Yes the texts why"
Well I looked at my phone n the texts are gone they vanished.
"That's crazy maybe someone came in your room in the middle of the night and deleted em" he chuckled a little
Wtf that's not funny I say while I give him a push.
I walk out of his room confused then I hear the door bell. Now who could that be? I run downstairs n open the door.

"Hello I have a letter for you"
Who are you ? I ask
"I'm your personal messenger sent from- I mean just your personal m-messenger" he studdered.
Messenger ? I don't have one of those.
"Well now you do , take this letter n read it"
I snatch the letter from his hands n open it up. I look back up n he disappeared. What is going on with me today. I must be hallucinating.. I start reading the letter "If you have been going through some strange events latley then you're the chosen one, soon you will see more signs. You'll have abilities that you never had before & you will fall in love with someone who was a chosen one too."
What was I chosen for..
