"You can't go to bed without a cup of tea. Maybe that's the reason that you talk, in your sleep."- Louis Tomlinson 'Little Things'
Louise-
"Youre a worthless child, aren't you, Louise?"
I don't respond. I will never give in to saying this.
"Answer me!" My dad yells at me. I flinch. I know what he wants to hear.
"Y-Yes. I a-am." I whisper. He smirks in victory.
So much for not giving in.
"You'll never be anybody in this world, child. Not a single soul would come for you. You're just a mistake me and your mum made."
"Louise! Louise, wake up!"
I sit up gasping for air. I look to see Louis next to me.
"Are you okay?" He asks, concern laced in his voice. I close my eyes and nod.
"Yeah...what happened?"
"Well, you started talking in your sleep, so I came in and it looked like you couldn't breathe." He says. He looks at me with sorrow.
I cover my face.
"Stop! Don't look at me like that!" I cry.
"Like what?" He asks, clearly confused.
"With sorrow and disappointment. That's how I've been looked at my whole life." I mumble.
"I'm sorry, Louise." He says softly.
"You don't need to feel sorry. You shouldn't at all." He stayed silent for a while before he stood up and walked to the door.
"Come downstairs when you're ready." Is all he says before leaving.
Louis-
I walk through the corridor and down the stairs. I sigh and plop down on the red couch.
"Is she coming down?" I recognised an Irish accent.
"Yeah. She will, just right now, I think she's upset. I don't know." I huff.
"Don't worry about it, mate. I'm sure she'll warm up to you one day." Liam puts a hand on my shoulder.
"Yeah. One day." Harry snickered. We looked at him. "What?" Liam shook his head.
"Where's Zayn?" I asked, changing the subject.
"Um...he did say he'll be running a bit late." Liam answered.
I covered my face with my hands.
"Oh god. What am I going to do? I can't do this to her."
"Then don't take her there. Instead, just back out and don't take the money." Niall sat next to me.
"I can't. I'm in too deep. Plus, I already accepted. If I should've known how young she is, then I wouldn't have done it. I'm so selfish."
Footsteps were heard down the hall. She's coming down. We looked up and she was walking down the steps.
Louise-
I walked down the stairs and saw three other boys. One with blonde hair, the brown roots growing out, another with brown hair styled into a quiff, and a boy with his hair into a little bun.
"I'm here." I sighed.
"Louise, I want you to meet Niall," he pointed to the blonde. "Liam," the brunette. "And Harry." Then the boy with the bun. "Zayn will be here in a bit."
As if on cue, he door opened to reveal a guy with Ray-Bans and his hair flipped to the right side of his head and the other side cut.
"Sorry I'm late. Just had to run some things." He took off his glasses and looked at me. "This her?" He nudged Louis.
"Yeah. Louise this is Zayn. These are the people who'll take care of you when I'm away or anything."
"Hi." I say shyly. Then there's a pounding on the door.
Their eyes widen.
"Niall, take her upstairs." Louis commands. Niall nods and takes my hand. I turn around and see Louis, Liam, and Harry crowding the door.
"Niall, what's happening?" I ask. He shushes me and covers my mouth.
"You have to be quiet." He whispers. Then there were footsteps coming from the corridor.
His eyes widen and keeps his hand over mouth, pulling us in my closet. He holds me tight.
