Chapter 6: I could care less.

Normal POV

As the blonde walked in feeling confident, she was struck down by an arrow. Literally.

"Well, hello to you too." Lucy said and kept on walking.

She couldn't feel anything.

No more emotions. No more nothing.

Pain is an emotion. And when you don't want to feel it, you tell yourself it doesn't hurt.

"I'll just take this out." Lucy ripped out the Arrow.

"Since I am bleeding, I'll summon my spirits." Lucy said. As she summoned Virgo

"I open the gate of the Maiden: Virgo." Lucy said, emotionless.

"Hello Hime." She suddenly appeared.

"Hello me patch up please." She quietly pointed to her wound.

"Lucy! There's a puddle of blood around you!" The pain kicked in.

Lucy scrunched up her nose, her breathing now Un even.

"Okay." Virgo patched up her stomach within seconds.

"Where's master?" Lucy asked the shocked Mira.

"Up... Are you okay?" Mira's eyes widened when Lucy flinched.

"What's wro-" Mira was caught in between Natsu and Lucy.

"Heh. Chump." Lucy mumbled.

"Hi, loser." Natsu sheepishly smiled.

"Stop being a third grader and grow up Salamander." Lucy smiled while looking down.

She wanted to scream out in agony. The pain had caught up with her.

"No thanks. I'm already grown up, you know why?" Natsu asked.

"Because you have a dagger in your hand." Lucy quickly and swiftly took it away and twirled it in her hands.

"Wow. Such a smart girl put to waste." Natsu walked off, with his hands shoved in his pockets.

"I could care less. I mean, not even your father is proud of you." Natsu stopped in his tracks.

"What? Igneel is more than proud of me." Natsu turned around, catching the guilds attention.

"Nope." Lucy popped the p.

"We all know I'm the better person here." He cockily smirked, looking as if he achieved something.

"Open the gate of the Fire Dragon: Igneel." Lucy smirked.

"Hi." Igneel waved at his son.

"Igneel..." Natsu was speechless.

"I open the gate of the Sky dragon: Grandeeney." Lucy chanted.

"Yea. What do you wa-" Grandeeney had realised where she was. She wore a beautiful blue Kimono.

"Help. Patch this up...?" Lucy pointed towards the mini hole in her stomach.

"Okay..." within seconds, there wasn't a single scratch on Lucy.

"Okay... go back to your sewing and old lady stuff." Lucy and Igneel tried to contain their laughter, but failed miserly.

"Oh yeah... Salamander..." Lucy stared into his soul.

"I could care less. We all know I'm the better person. And even if you guys don't see it, I'm better. Because, I will actually stick up for my friends and I wouldn't ever betray them. Well you know how I always say to forgive? Maybe this time, maybe this time I'll actually be myself and I won't ever let anyone in. You brung me back to my darkest days! The days I spent for soo long trying to forget, you brung it back up! Stop being a selfish äss hole and think about what other people think too. You don't ever get what you want in life. Even if you do get it, there's a price. Mistakes will never be forgiven. Karma will catch up with you sooner or later. Don't even dare pity me, because out of the billions of people, I only pity those who can't see the truth." With a look over her shoulders, she was gone. As if she ceased to exist. She vanished into the thick air, as well as Igneel.
