Sorry.

-----------------

Ever since the day that Scott was diagnosed with cancer, life hasn't been easy.

Scott slept most of the day, and was only awake for 8 hours. He couldn't walk properly by himself, so he would need help with that. He couldn't breathe on his own, so he had tubes in his neck. He couldn't eat, so he needed to be fed through a tube everyday.

So how has life been since Scott was diagnosed? Life was miserable now.

Scott would have let them pull the plug a long time ago, but theres one thing that is keeping him from doing so.

Vincent.

The day Scott had been diagnosed, Vincent's life changed as well.

Vincent had to get used to the fact that when he got up in the morning, Scott wouldn't be in bed with him, no, he'd be in the hospital. Vincent got used to being at the hospital all the time. He was prepared to live like this. But there was one thing that Vincent wasn't prepared for.

Scott's death.

(A/N: i am actually crying right now, someone give meh a tissue.)

Vincent knew that the day would one day come. He knew that at some point, Scott had to stop fighting. He knew at some point, he'd be all alone in this world.

But Vincent knew not to think of that, not yet. He knew to treasure Scott's final moments. After all, once Scott is dead, Vincent will also be dead, on the inside.

One morning, when Vincent woke up, he got a frantic call from the hospital.

Once he arrived there, he was told that they had given Scott a week to live.

Vincent was heartbroken.

There was nothing he could do to save him.

Nothing at all.

Unless...

-----------

Its been three days since Scott was given a week to live, now he has four days. Vincent hasn't left his side ever since. Vincent's 3 year old daughter, Carrie, whom has no idea whats going on, has a slight feelings about whats going on.

She's notices how her father hasn't been himself. She may be small, but she's smarter than she lets on.

----------------

Three more days pass. This is it, Scott's final day of life. Unless he could get the surgery he needed, he would die. He needed a heart transplant, but none were available.

Vincent already knew what he was gonna do.

Before him and Carrie left to the hospital, Vincent told Carrie something, something she will never forget.

"Carrie," he started, choking on his own sobs, "I wanted to tell you something."

Carrie, who was a little confused, asked him what he meant.

"Carrie. No matter what happens, just know that I love you so much. I will always be here, in the stars, whenever you need me, I'll be here. I will never leave you." Vincent hugged her tightly, tears flowing down his face.

"But where are you going?" Carrie asked oh so innocently.

Vincent looked at her, "Somewhere very far away."

-----------------

The surgery was a success. After a day out of surgery, Scott was finally awake.

Carrie was excited that her other dad had finally awoken.

Scott was happy too. Everything was okay.

Or is it?

Scott asked where Vincent was.

The doctor just froze in her tracks. She looked a little hesitant.

"..he wanted me to give you this." She handed him a note.

Scott opened it, and it read:

Dear Scott,

Your finally awake! Your all better now!

Thats all ive ever wanted! Just, please take care of Carrie. And yourself.

I love you both. But dont worry, i'll always be here for u guys.

I Love you so much.

But look on the bright side! You've stolen my heart once again!

As Scott read it, he started to cry.

"But I still don't understand, what happened to him?" Scott asked.

"Well..." The doctor started, "where do you think that heart came from?"

---------------

Im sorry guys. Im in a depressing mood right now so i wrote this.
