O6. the flu.

started watching insurgent again and felt inspired so... =D

chapter O6:
the flu

"DAD!" tobias yelled out in agony before chocking again and barfing all over the floor. his hands and knees covered in vomit, hair dripping with sweat and fever rising by the minute.

he felt so dizzy, his stomach was churning and vision blurry and tobias was just really sick.

he heard a naughty word, followed by loud footsteps and his door bursting open.

"shît" Marcus said as he looked down at his son.

daddy cursed a lot.

"daddy, icky" he cried. marcus quickly picked him up not caring that he was covered in puke and touched his forehead.

he was burning up.

"hurts" tobias cried again as he hid his sweaty face in his dad's neck.

"i know buddy, i know. daddy's gonna help you, just calm down" he said as he headed to the bathroom.

Marcus turned on the lights and the water for the bath, making sure it was cold.

tobias wasn't gonna mind though because he was feeling so hot and he hated it.

he proceeded to undress his son and help him when he puked again. when he was done marcus sat him inside the bath as tobias cried.

"hey it's gonna be okay" he reassured washing his son and pouring water on top of his head to try to break the fever.

after the long bath he dressed him up in his pajamas and noticed that his fever had gone down a little.

he decided to call the doctor in the morning and allow his son to at least get some more sleep. plus it was three in the morning and he knew that Tobias's doctor wasn't gonna drive down to their house.

now laying in his dad's bed with his batman sippy cup on hand, bubble guppies playing on the tv, tobias soon finds himself drifting off to sleep.

tris kept looking around for the blue eyed boy she was so fond of. but he was nowhere and the little girl was getting worried. she stood up placing her green crayon down and walked up the boys' table. Uriah had two crayons in his mouth pretending to be a walrus while zeke repeatedly smacked him upside the head. will was cracking up and about to fall of his chair which made tris giggle.

but then her brows creased as she saw the empty seat next to will, where tobias was suppose to be sitting. of course he rarely sat there. tobias, having a huge crush on tris, would usually kick Christina out of their table so he could sit next to his girl. Christina didn't mind though because she also got to sit next to will.

she gently tapped the mocha skinned boy and he looked up with a friendly grin. zeke wasn't crushing on tris, shauna was the only girl his eyes could see. but he did have a special bond with tris and he was very protective of her. sadly he couldn't talk to her much because tobias would go all crazy on him. tobias has jealousy issues, like mommy; zeke thought to himself.

"hiya twis"

"hi zee" she said letting out a long, sad sigh. he furrowed his brows at her mood and placed a hand on her cheek.

"what is wong?"  he asked retreating his hand back when he saw the scowl on shauna's face.

"why tobias no here? he no like being fwiends wif me no more?" she questioned and chills went down her spine at the thought of tobias hating her. lucky for her zeke shook his head franctically.
