I'm not the type you would think loves to read, but it's true.  I'm a bookworm, maybe even a nerd.  But at least I have fantastic hair.

Mind that, but when you have to cope with disappointment, unfairness, and killer boredom most of your life, I've learned to handle it by reading.  Books are worlds, they take me to wonderful places filled with fun and happiness.  I sink into the depth of the pages, and I feel a sudden warmth enveloping me like a hug.  Yes, books can hug.

My library mostly consists of my sisters' old schoolbooks that I sneak out of their rooms, but I still find them incredibly interesting.  They prepare me for my Hogwarts years and keep me entertained, so why not?

As for my hair, it's pretty fabulous.  As much as Kassandra annoys me, she recently shared a beauty secret with me that changed my life.  She whipped up a potion that is proven to "make hair thick and voluminous like never before" and to my bewilderment it works.  Fluxweed, octopus powder, and Asian dragon hair makes the best shampoo I've ever dreamed of...

But back to the topic of books - Today, I overstepped the boundaries of my comfort reading.  I stole one of Kassandra's books titled Secrets of the Darkest Art.  Then to my horror, the word RESTRICTED was plastered over the spine in jarring red.  Do I dare to open it?  The little voice in my head told me to stop being such a little coward, so I decided to listen to it.

The book was heavy and looked worn out, yet new.  I ran my fingers over the faded bindings and traced the scratched, glossy letters before opening the cover.  The paper was crinkled and ripped in corners as I flipped through the handwritten pages.

A certain chapter caught my eye titled "Tom Riddle" with a portrait of a good-looking boy on the right.  None more handsome than me, though...

Tom Marvolo Riddle, born 31 December, 1926, was an exceptional half-blood wizard, expected to be the greatest dark wizard of all time.  He was son of the upper-class Muggle, Tom Riddle Senior, and witch, Merope Gaunt.  He grew up in the Muggle association, Wool's Orphanage, London, and in 1938 became a resident at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in Slytherin House.  He showed incredible talent in each of his terms and was glorified by peers and teachers.  He ended his years with many remarkable accomplishments, such as the opening of the Chamber of Secrets, in which he used the Basilisk to attack Muggle-born students.  His goals are to attain immortality and take over the Ministry of Magic, reigning the world.  Riddle is hoping to achieve immortality by creating six more Hocruxes.  His first one was created at sixteen.  He currently has in mind a change of name to Lord Voldemort.  Riddle has attained some followers that will aid him in his goals.  Known followers include  Lucius Malfoy, Rodolphus, and Bellatrix Lestrange, -

That was enough for me.   I didn't understand.   I knew my family was dark and cruel and knowledgeable, but I could never think that this was real.  Everything was suddenly spinning around me, and I was frozen in the middle of it all.  This can't be happening, I don't know what to do anymore.  I shut my eyes, trying to wake up from a nightmare, but all I saw was sparks.  Nothing changed when I opened them again.

I tried to stand up, but I was too weak as I stumbled and collapsed in a shaking heap.  Pixels obscured my vision, forming into something that made my heart race.  It was a screen with the words:

Key #1 collected!  +5 points!

And then I passed out.
