Yata's POV
We were all upstairs, watching some fireworks in the distance when Homras front door dinged open.
"Huh, it's a bit late for punters," muttered Izumo as he advanced down the stairs. We all shrugged as we continue looking out the window. We were lost in a daze until Izumos yells echoed the establishment, "MIKOTO! YATA! TOTSUKA! GET DOWM HERE NOW!" "Jees, what's his problem?" I mutter as I follow behind the other two men. I walk down the last stair to see Mikoto and Izumo crouching beside an unconscious woman lying on the bar floor. Wait, do I know her? I continue looking at her until it clicks, that bag! "Karma!" I exclaim as I rush to her side, Totsuka emerging with blankets and pillows, placing them on the couch in the bar. "She's stone cold, Mikoto what do we do?" Izumo voice wavers as he looks at our King. Mikoto suddenly grabs Karma, carrying her bridal style and places her on the couch, as gently as possible which surprised the fellas and I. "She's joining Homra," Mikoto states as he takes poor Karmas' hand gently as if it's made of glass into his and shakes it. A red aura emits, surrounding the two until a blinding Union of colours dance around Karma, the light blinding us until the Homra crosses her heart then onto her upper chest. Woah!
"Mikoto, what does that mean? I thought only kin-" Izumo questions, his voice quiet with confusion. "I don't know," muttered a clearly confused Mikoto, his face froze in a uncharacteristically shocked expression. "Poor Karma, look at the state of her," I say looking at her bruised face and blue toned skin from the freezing December night. "She's ours now. She's safe," Mikoto announced as he placed a hand to her forehead and smiled. This is weird, usually Mikoto could care less but why is he so interested now?
"We need to make her comfortable, hold her Mikoto," sings Totsuka as Mikoto comes to his side, lifting her gently. It was then she slightly opened her eyes and looked at us, a warm smile growing across her beaten face as she says thank you. She looks up to Mikoto as he holds her, she buries her head into his chest as her arms falls to her side gently. The King smirking at the female in his arms. "Alright, here," Totsuka chimes pointing to the over cushioned couch he made as Mikoto saunters with Karma in his arm and re  lies her down, lifting her feet up on to the couch. We all sigh in Union looking at her. She looked like she had been put through hell, bruises and cuts painted her body like a sick art project. I shuddered with anger, how could anyone hurt her?
"Her pulse is stronger but we need someone to stay up all night to watch over her and I ca-" I wave, cutting Izumo typical rant and say I'll watch her. "Oh,comfortable with the ladies are we?" Slurs Izumo in a pervy voice. "She saved and helped me, I owe her my life." He nods in response and walks upstairs following after Mikoto who grunts a 'goodnight'.
I position myself in the seat right infront of her as Totsuka begins tucking blanket after blanket around her. "You're going to overheat her," I grunt watching him, his hands gently tracing the blanket over her body to not wake her. "Do you know you lose body heat as you sleep?" Totsuka smirks as he knows that he has just schooled me. Totsuka joins my side as he looks at Karma. "Maybe she's what we've needed. A queen," Totsuka grins as he looks at me. "Perhaps she'll soften the King up," he chuckles as he goes to bed.
I watch her chest rise and fall, not once feeling uncomfortable around her. Karma felt like the older sister and best buddy I never had which felt amazing! I was watching her, only a candle light on when she opened her eyes and looked at me smiling,"oh love, why you still up. I'm so happy you're okay,I was worried sick over you darling." She spoke, her voice sounding weak. I could only chuckle as those big, bright blue eyes bore into my soul, captivating my attention. "It was only a scratch, Karma. No biggy, but what about you?" I asked only to see she'd only fallen asleep again. I sigh as my eyes begin to close with exhaustion. I pray to God when I wake she'll be better and still here.
