Year 1756
"If it is you... I can put myself in your hands. Do whatever you want. I am yours, I am your person." He spoke softly while sitting along side the lake with her. Finally, everything felt at peace in that moment, the moon was shining heavenly in the sky, its reflection on the lake make it seem more enchanting, it almost seemed like a fairy tale but this isn't any fairy tale.
"Your are my person." The girl responded gently while resting her head on his shoulder.
"We are finally together now, it would've been nice to live like this the whole time" his eyes sparkled while he talked, he was so beautiful and she just wanted to look at him forever but she couldn't , she can't. His lips gently placed onto hers, it was soft and gentle, but also filled with passion, to fill the missing time.
Suddenly there were tears coming out from her eyes, falling uncontrollably. He stopped his lips, backing away to see why she was crying.
"Darling, are you alright?" His arms were tighter around her body. She miss him already, even though he is right here in front of her.
"I wish we could stay like this forever." her fingers carefully guided through his cheeks, his lips, everything that will help her remember his features, his beautiful features that she does not want to forget.
"What do you mean? we have forever now."
"I want you to know no matter where we are in this life, you will always be my person.... I love you"
"Evangeline, you are frightening me, what is going on." His hand reached for hers, holding it in place, just where it belonged in.
