Ronnie's POV
It's been almost three months since Amber came out of the hospital. She still can't remember much of anything. I heard a glass shatter and I ran to see what happened. Amber had tripped over her untied shoe laces and knocked over a glass vase. She had minor cuts on her hands from trying to pick up the shards. "Amber? Are you okay?" I asked. She looked up confused "Umm do I know you?" she asked innocently. I nodded and said for the millionth time "I'm your dad Ronnie." She nodded and stood up quickly and swiftly. I couldn't help but relive that day at the mall. 'I'll hurt anyone who tries to hurt Amber!' I thought.
Amber had picked up all the shards while I was zoned out. "Umm excuse me Ronnie, you're standing on piece of glass." she said. I had ignored the small stinging on my foot for a while. "Oh I'm sorry." I said. "There's no need to be sorry Ronnie, I'm the one who was a klutz and knocked over your vase." She really didn't remember she was the one who bought it for me. "Do you know where you are?" I asked. She shrugged and said "No I don't. I just woke up next to a guy with black hair and a tattoo of a skeleton guy and doll girl on his arm." I mentally face-palmed myself 'Jacky.'
"Excuse me, I'm gonna throw this away now." she said politely. 'It's good she didn't forget her manners.' I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and saw Jacky rubbing his eyes. "Where's Amber?" he asked. I pointed into the kitchen and said "She tripped over her shoe laces and knocked over the vase she bought me." Jacky shrugged and said "How are we gonna-" "RONNIE!!!!" I heard Amber scream out. Me and Jacky ran into the kitchen and saw Craig was inside. "I wanted to see her." he said calmly. I rushed at him and pushed him against the back door. "I told you to stay away from her." I said angrily.
Amber's POV
I suddenly had a rush if memories come into my mind. 'This Craig guy caused me to forget everything and Ronnie's my dad?' I thought. I remembered the day at the mall as if it happened yesterday. "Dad?" I said unsure. Ronnie quickly snapped his attention to me and smiled. "He caused me to forget?" I asked. Craig stepped up and said "Yeah, and I wanted to say I was really sorry. I understand where your dads anger is coming from, because I'm a father too." Those words echoed through my mind 'I'm a father too.' I was confused about why he kissed me if he had a child already. "Why'd you do it then?" I asked.
"I was just tired of my wife. I needed someone new for the moment." he said. I felt so used. "How could.you get tired of your own wife? If you got tired of your wife, what makes me feel any better about trusting you?" I asked. Ronnie backed away and said "Tell her Craig. You wanted her so bad." I was waiting for him to say something. After about two minutes of silence, he said "I've been married for two years already and I had a daughter named Leila. I love her more than anything, but I've cheated a lot."
I felt my heart break, and he wasn't the one cheating on me. "How could you do this to them?" I asked angrily. He shrugged and walked out. 'I'm so stupid.' I thought. Jacky wrapped his arms around my waist and said "You can trust me right?" I nodded and asked sarcastically "Are you married too? Do you have son or daughter.waiting for you in England?" Ronnie and Jacky laughed "No, I don't." I felt so sure when I was.with Jacky. All my memories came flooding back to me. 'Is this everyone I had forgotten?' I thought.
Ryan and Jen came down and asked "What's goin on down here?" Ronnie couldn't help but smile, so Jacky said "Amber has her memories back." Then Derek, Christina, Ron, Haley, and Crissy came running downstairs. Crissy attack hugged me along with everyone else. "Baby I'm so happy you have your memory back." I felt so happy, like nothing else in the world mattered. 'Maybe losing my memory wasn't as bad as they thought it was.'
