Alexa's point of view:

Oh. My. Fucking. Gosh. Mimi just texted me. Oh my goodness I didn't even think she would give me lessons. Although her text was bitchy, it means she doesn't hate me. She said that my voice can't be terrible.........which I have a confession to make. I'm actually a great singer. I just wonder what she will think if I go there and can sing. Will she think I'm going to pull something on her? I hope she doesn't think that, even though I kinda am.

I'm going to text her back and tell her that I will meet her there and I can't wait. She texts back ok. Soooo I'm off to my next class and I need this day to speed itself along because I can't wait to go to her house, I just hope her side hoes aren't there because then life will be sucky.
....................................

Omg. The day is over. Time to go to Mimi's. Its time. Its time. Its time , yay its time.

I'm sooooooooooo scared that I will do something to embarrass my self, but I'm going to prepare myself for ultimate humiliation just in case. I practically run to my car. I even pass Bradley . He wanted to stay and talk but I waved hi and ran. I feel kinda bad but not bad enough to go back and talk to him. Sorry!

I can't wait. I know I probably said that a million billion times but its hard to hold in something so true.

I'm about to pull up to Mimi's house when I see her sides pulling out of the driveway and into the street. Well that solves one of my problems.

I go to the door and ring the doorbell. I'm standing there waiting for like five minutes. I'm about to ring the doorbell again , when Mimi opens the door.

" Come in." , she says her house is humongous. I'm instantly blasted in the face with a strong , but sweet smell of cinnamon. I'm standing marveling at her house when she tells me its not a big deal and to come on.

I hope she's not gonna be like this the whole time because I'm in a pretty good mood and I don't want her to kill my vibe.

"Let's go to my room its a little more private."

I'm a bout to go into my super extra crush's room. Does she do this with all her students? I built up enough courage to ask her.

"Do you take all your students to your room?" I can't believe I actually asked her that.

"Um...actually no your the first one. See I don't trust people around my things.....but I trust you."

"Really." I can't believe I actually said that out loud.

"Yeah." ,she says with a real genuine smile.

We are walking into her room and there's another room in her room which is set up like music studio.

Wow!

She tells me to sit down. She then walks over to a white board.

She writes in huge letters THE WEEKND.

"Ummmmm.........question."

"Yes", Mimi says without seeing anything wrong.

"Why did you write the thatnd on the board."

"Because silly that's what we're going to be singing today....his song....drum roll please........The Hills."

I don't listen to his music that much but I LOVE that song. There are others like wicked games, might not , and low life. And then there's obviously earned it but that song was a little over played.

"Is that a problem", she asks breaking me from my train of thought.

"Um... No I actually love that song," she smiles when I say this .

"Its my favorite song to it just plays like a loop in my head." Well at least we have a common ground with favorite songs. "Ok so let's start with the chorus since the versus don't require much skill. You probably already know the lyrics so I'm not going to teach them to you, but first let's start with a scale."

"Um.. What's that," I ask curiously trying to play dumb because I know exactly what it is.

"I was getting to that if you would let me finish...". Dang someone's a little salty there."... Its simple you just have to sing doe rae me fa so la ti doe, then backwards doe ti la so fa me rae doe."

Her voice sounds amazing, like a mix between TLC, Zendaya and Beyonce. I'll probably never be that good, but I sound good enough to not need lessons so I'm dialing it back to an 8. I sing the scale , but I can't read the expression on her face.
