"Scott, I feel like I'm being watched." I watched as the girl grabbed her date's arm, obviously showing that she was scared. I chuckled and walked in front of her as she looked around. Pranking them when they were scared was the best thing to do. They jump at everything. Gathering enough energy, I lifted her hair and she screamed.

"Geez, Jenna, calm down. It was just the wind." Jenna was starting to hyperventilate. That was when I know my prank time was over. Watching Scott take care of her, I disappeared and appeared in a completely different city. It happened often, so I was fine with it. As I walked, I recognized the city as it was the one I was living in before I died. It always brought back memories, but I've learned to ignore them.

"It's on the counter, Kim." A young woman walked passed me on the phone.

"No, I need it now, Jim. The presentation starts soon." An middle-aged man said on the phone as he got in the taxi.

"I'm late. Why am I late again?" I felt the guy run right through me in a hurry. He didn't even turn around.

"Gary, Did you see the game last night?" I looked over at the two old men talking at a restaurant table outside, having a conversation over coffee.

"No, what happened?"

"The Royals lost to the Cubs."

"No way. What the score? What was the strategy?" I continued walking and went to find someone to mess around with. Bored with the nightly arrangements, I decided to look for people in apartments and found a little girl who wasn't quite asleep yet.

"Perfect." I muttered as I walked through the wall to her room. Almost suddenly, I started moving things and turning things on. Soon, she started to noticed and I could see and feel how scared she was.

"Grace! Help!" I chuckled and stopped for a second, standing by her closet door and looked as a girl just a little younger than I would have been, walk in and go to the little girl.

"Angie? What's wrong?" The little girl was gripping the sheets to her chest.

"The ghost is back! I don't want him to hurt me!" Grace hugged the girl, Angie, and comforted her. I frowned.

"Again?" Grace gasped and looked in my direction. Angie looked up at her.

"Grace?" I felt her eyes on me. But, that was impossible. I'm a ghost. Living people can't see ghost.

"Yes?"

"What's wrong?" Grace's eyes never left mine.

"Nothing, Angie. I'm fine." I frowned. "You have nothing to worry about. The ghost is gone. Just sing your ghost song and I'll call your dad, okay? I'll be just in the living room." I watched as Grace got out of the bed and kissed Angie on the forehead and looked at me once before leaving the room backwards. Frowning in confusion and curiousity, I walked through the walls to the living room where she was standing, holding the phone, dialing furiously.

"Well, you must be in a hurry." She jumped and fumbled with the phone.

"Who are you and what are you doing in this house?" I frowned and looked behind me to see if someone else was in the room. When I looked at her, she was staring right at me, not through me.

"Wait, wait...You can see me? And-And hear me?" She frowned and nodded. "That's freaky."

"How did you get in here?"

"Uh, walked. Do you know what I am?"

"A intruder." I chuckled lightly.

"I'm a ghost. And I am a prankster." I bowed in front of her, smirking. I could tell she still didn't believe me. "Try and touch me if you don't believe me." She looked skeptical.

"You're just trying to lure me." I rolled my eyes.

"You want proof? Here's your proof."  Without thinking, I punched my arm through the wall. She jumped and stared in awe at my arm.

"You-You're-A gh-gho-" I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, I'm a ghost. And the fact that you can see and hear me is puzzling." Grace grabbed the phone and dialed again. "Who you calling?"

"Mr. Tills. The guy I'm babysitting for. I'm going crazy and I don't want Angie to witness it." I frowned for a second then smirked.

"Of course you're going crazy. I can almost see in the papers. Crazy Woman Claims To Speak To The Dead." Grace stopped dialing. "Ooh, or maybe, Young Lady Submitted To A Medical Clinic For Testing. That's a good one, don't you think?" She looked at me in anger.

"You're lucky you're dead. I would have killed you myself." I chuckled and sat down on the couch. "How can you sit on stuff if you're a ghost?" I shrugged.

"I don't know. It's a ghost thing, I guess." I watched as she sat on the table in front of me and reached her hand out and touched my cheek with her finger. I raised my eyebrow as she pulled her arm to herself. "You okay?"

"I didn't know I could actually touch you. I though I would go right through you since you're dead."

"Hey, careful with that word. I don't even remember how I died. Though I do remember going to my funeral." She frowned in confusion.

"You don't remember how you died? That's strange." I shugged.

"I've learned to live with it. ha..well, I should go." I stood up and looked at her. "I just came to pull a prank on the little girl. Oh, by the way do you know why she really freaked out? I remember her say something that a ghost hurt her before?" She sighed.

"I shouldn't tell you." I chuckled.

"I'm dead. Not like I can tell anyone anything." She looked at me before getting up and heading to the window and looking out at the city lights.

"It was about eight months ago." I frowned and walked up to her, but still a few feet from her though. "I had just started to work for these guys and they warned me about the constant paranormal activity here." She crossed her arms and looked at me. "It was very active and no one felt safe, especially Angie. She was terrified of it."

"What happened?" She sighed and opened her mouth as the door opened, revealing a middle-aged man who looked familiar.

"Garret, I didn't expect you back so soon." He exhaled.

"Yeah, work finished early, so I was able to come home. Thanks for babysitting her, Grace." I watched as she walked over and the guy hand her a fifty dollar bill with a twenty.

"Seventy bucks? How long do you babysit?" Of course, as usual, she ignored me and left. More confused than ever, I followed her, still intrigued that she could see me.
