Walking down the halls of the mall, I've been here for hours and am only carrying one bag, none of these stores have any good deals anymore. Thinking to myself of where I want to go next I hear
"Excuse me,"
In a thick Irish accent as I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around to see a blonde boy standing behind me looking sheepish.
"This is weird, but do you know where the washroom is?"
As we both let out a small chuckle I say
"Yeah just go around the corner, straight down the hall and turn right they will be the first door on the left."
"Okay thanks, I'm not actually very good at directions, but I'll try."
"Oh no problem, and good luck."
With that I gave him a smile and started walking to the next store.
"Wait, maybe you could show me where they are it might be easier?"
He tries flashing the cutest smile I've ever seen in my life.
"Umm, are you trying to kidnap me?.."
"Never, you can trust me, I'm harmless. Like completely"
I nod unsure but something tells me to just go with it. What could happen we are in a very busy mall surely someone would help if I start screaming my head off. Right? So I start walking with him. He's pretty quiet at first he doesn't say anything until we get to the bathrooms.
"Stay right here I want to hangout and talk a bit more, are you hungry?"
" I actually just had lunch.."
"Oh okay.. well just wait then.."
Waiting for him seemed awkward. There was a man dressed in all black on the other side of the hallway. What if he wants to kidnap me and is waiting for his chance? What if this guy went to washroom to signal it was okay to kidnap me? I was so busy running these thoughts through my head I hadn't even seen him come out.
"Ready?"
"Ugh yeah, sorry where do you wanna go?"
"Where is there to go? this is my first time in this mall, as you can probably tell.."
"Well the cafeteria is on the other side of the mall, there's not much there but I mean we're in a small mall there usually isn't much food places.. unfortunately."
"Well it's still food isn't it?"
He gave me a grin as he said this, making me chuckle.
"Yeah it is.. It's good food too, the cafeteria is always packed, people come to the mall just to eat; most people don't even shop when they come.."
He gives me a puzzled look as we make our way to the other side of the mall.
"Are you sure we can even get food here? It looks like we'll be waiting for hours."
"It'll only take 5 minutes trust me, it's amazing and worth it."
"Okay well maybe you can save a table for us and I'll wait in line? Do you want anything?"
"No, I just ate."
"Are you sure you're not just saying that?"
"Yeah I'm sure I don't need anything"
"Fine I'll be back in a bit"
I go over to a far corner table and wait. It only takes a few minutes until I see him coming over with a tray full of food.
"I got you some fries.. just case in case you got hungry.."
"I really don't need them"
I say as he places them in front of me. They do look good but I'm full I just ate like 30 minutes ago.
"Fine, but I don't want to see you eating any of them then."
"I wont, don't worry."
He eats as we talk about everything we can think of.
"Oh I forgot to ask you what your name is.. I'm such an idiot"
"I'm Stefany."
I say as I unconsciously grab a fry and pop it into my mouth.
"What are you doing?! You aren't allowed to touch those!"
"What I didn't do anything.."
"I just saw you take a fry, you cant hide it."
"Okay I had one fry I wont take any more.."
"I doubt it."
He says with a knowing smiling on his face.
"Okay we just met and you know me too well already, this isn't fair."
He doesn't say anything he just chuckles and gives me a cheeky grin.
"Hey, do you know that guy? he's been following us all day.."
"What guy?"
"The one in all black, he keeps looking over here.. it's kinda freaking me out.."
"Oh... yeah.. uhh.. that's my security guard"
Although he says it more like a question than an answer.
"Your security guard?!"
"Yeah.. I mean I don't want to seem cocky or anything, but I am in One Direction.. people don't always respect our boundaries, so we have to have them with us all the time.."
"Are you serious?!"
"Yeah.. I'm Niall... I kinda thought everyone knew who we were.."
