Chapter 9-- Results Show!

Silver's P.O.V************************************************

I am really tired, I didn't sleep yesterday. I was to busy thinking about how everyone did, I hope I did great. I especially hope Jewell did awesome. I also wonder about Veera. I wonder how she did. I hope I helped her.

" Good morning Silver! The results show is going to come on in thirty minutes, be prepared." said Patricia.

" Patricia, I'm wondering why do we have to do the Hunger Games?" I ask.

" Well, havn't you heard the story billions of time?" she asked.

" Yep, except I don't understand why WE have to suffer when we didn't even do it," I said.

" I don't really know that, honey, maybe you could ask president snow, when you win," she says smiling.

" And, one other question, do you like the Hunger Games?" I asked

Patricia's P.O.V************************

Uh oh, how will I answer this, I hate the Hunger Games, no one can know.

" Hello Patricia," Silver asks.

" Wait what was the question again," I asked.

" Do you like the Hunger Games," He repeated.

" Um....,"

" Come on Patricia, answer me,"

I give him the finger that shows to come here. I whisper something in his ear.

" Silver, I... I hate the Hunger Games, I never wanted it. I was forced to become an escort. You cannot tell anybody, if anyone, especially President Snow, if he finds out, I don't want to imagine what he would do to me." I say frowning.

" Patricia, it's all right I will never tell anyone thanks you for answering though."

I leave the room speed walking. I go to my room, where there is all kinds of clothes and make-up.

"Why was I an escort, I never wanted to be, why can't I just me a regular person," I say to myself.

I tried to keep my secret to myself, never in my life has another tribute asked me that question. What would happen if President Snow found out!

"No Patricia, don't think like that, you will be okay, remember Silver is a different kind of person from District 1, he won't tell.... would he?"

" Oh my goodness, I don't want to think like this, but I hope Silver dies in that arena.... no-one can know my secret, never."

Oh my goodness! I lost track of time, it is almost time for the results! I hope Silver did awful, and my chances are very slim, but I can hope... And hope is everything in this world, the only thing.

Jewell's P.OV********************************

I felt like sleeping in tonight, so I slept until the results show came on.

" Jewell! Get out of bed! The results show is on." says Patricia.

"Why, did you wake me up," I groan.

" I just told you, get ready fast!"

I gets some nice clothes on and go into the kitchen and get a granola bar. I've only had that once in my life. I see everyone at the T.V I join them.

" Welcome sleepy head," says Brayden.

" I didn't know girls in District 1 slept in," said Rose.

" Guys be quiet! It is on." says Silver.

On the T.V it shows Klade Broon, the host of T.V. He is actually kind of cute. He says stuff about the news, and then he gets on with the scores.

" Now, it is time for the results, everything you've been waiting for. Remember anything could happen in any District. Now for District 1, Silver. He got the score of 1.

" What!" everyone says.

" Times ten!" Shouts Klade.

Then everyone starts to laugh, and pats Silver's shoulder.

" Great job Silver!" I say.

" Jewell. She did amazing! She got an 11!" says Klade.

Oh my goodness, no, no this can't be right. Silver has to be better than me.

"Silver, I'm sor-"

" Jewell it's okay, we know that we are exactly the same, I'm proud of you though." he says smiling.

"Let's go onto District 2! Let's start with Blade, shall we? Blade got a 10! Congragulations! Now let's go on with Rain. She did good with a 9!"

" Wow, so surprising," I say sarcastically.

"District 3! Let's start with Aaron. He got a score of 5. And Leslie, got a score of 4."

" District 4! Jeremy, with a score of 9! Lizzie 9.

"District 5! Jonathan, 7. Jessica, 5.

"District 6! Kevin, 6. Veeria. Oh my gosh, I don't think this is right, but it says she got a 9! What an amazing score for a twelve year old girl!

"District 7! John, 8. Leilani 7.

"District 8! , Julian, a sad 3 lowest score of the day. Mady, 4.

"District 9! Kale, 5. Emi, 7.

"District 10! Josh, an amazing 10! Brianna, 11.

"District 11! Justin, 10. Becca, a 12.

"Wow amazing scores with District 10 and 11!  This seems like it is going to be an interesting Hunger Games, so many people with high scores, District 2 and 1 might be in trouble. Watch out for Becca," He winks.

District 12! Chris a score of 3. And last of all, Cassidy, an 9.

Then the screen goes off, and then I'm scared of the tributes. Who wold've thought 10 11 and one of 12 would get a high score, this will not be easy. Especially Becca and Brianna. Who knew to girls could get such high scores, not trying to be sexest, it is just that they are in the outer Districts also.
