"Hey where were you last night Devin? I kept calling you but you never answered." Kylie asks me when I walked into school.
"I was with Richard."
"Who?.....Oh you mean Ricky?"
"Yeah."
"So how'd that go?"
"It was really fun. I really love him." She nods then looks behind me.
"Hey cutie." Ricky says behind me, slipping his arms around my waist. I blushed and he kisses my cheek.
"Hey Ricky."
"Who told you?" He sounded upset.
I guess he likes me calling him Richard?
"Why do you like me calling me your full name?"
"Kinda."
"Alright Richard."
"Hey I got you something. Early birthday present."
My bday is in a few days? How did he know? Did I tell him?
I opened the box and found a necklace with a decent sized sun on it.
"Cause you're my little ray of sunshine."
"Awww.....do I have to put it on myself?" I bit my lip and he takes it. "I actually got you something really similar. I was saving it though but I can give it now." I pulled out the crescent moon necklace I got him. He pulls his hair to one side and I put it on him. "So no matter what happens I'll always be one step behind you." Ricky fixes his hair again and hugs me.
"I love it."
"I love you." I say and he hugs me tighter.
"I love you as well. So much so that I have to confess something."
"What's that?"
"I'm a vampire." .......come again?
"I don't care I just wanna be with you."
"I'm glad to hear that."
"But the second you turn Twilight I'm kicking your undead ass out."
"I'll go straight before that happens." I giggled and he kisses my cheek. "Have I told you your giggle is really sexy?"
"N-No." I say flustered. Kylie laughs and then starts talking to Chris. The bell rings and I got the brilliant idea to jump on Ricky's back and demand a piggy back ride. "ONWARDS RACCOON!" I shout and everyone dies of laughter.
