"Hey Katty?" Seth's voice penetrated my focus.

"Hmm?" I replied quietly, attempting to find where I was in my reading.

"Katty, I really need your attention." he insisted, tugging on my sleeve like a little kid. I rolled my eyes and turned towards him.

"W-what is it, Seth?" I asked. He was a little too close for comfort. He seemed to be inspecting me, criticizing me. It made me feel exposed, open. It also made it difficult to concentrate.

"Would you like to go somewhere with me at about, oh, I dunno... eight o'clock tonight?" Seth smiled at me.

"Like... A date?" I asked. His smile widened.

"Exactly like a date. What do you say?" he was practically bouncing.

"How will I get past my family?" my brothers weren't gonna like this.

"I've already asked your father, so Edward knows, and he probably told the others." he stated.

"In that case, I'd love to." I grinned at him as an excited squeal came from the other room and Alice burst in, Rosalie hot on her heels, and dragged me away.

"No! My book! Help! Don't let them torture me!" I yelled, laughing as my whole family, who had been eavesdropping on us, came into view.

"Nope! You're going to be a real girl today!" Alice cackled evilly.

"Tough luck, Half-pint." Emmett chuckled.

"Sorry, short stuff. But, as your brother, it's my job to protect you from everyone except our sisters." Jasper said.

"Nooooo! Seth, help me!" I called, but he was to busy laughing to notice.

"Alright, that's enough. Alice, Rosalie, put your sister down. I'm sure Seth will like whatever she wears, and her normal hair and makeup. You don't need to dress her up. " my mother, Esme laughed quietly at my sisters.

"Fine, Esme." Alice and Rosalie muttered quietly, releasing me.

"Thanks, mom." I smirked at my sisters before grabbing my brothers and dragging them upstairs. "Okay. Eddie, where is he taking me?"

"He's bringing you to a cave be the meadow where we fought the newborns." Edward answered.

"Cool. Jas, you are going to do my makeup, and set out an outfit while I'm in the shower."

"Yes ma'am." Jasper replied.

"Emmy, you're going to scare Seth out of his wits. Eddie and Jas will join you soon."

"Gladly. Why are we doing this?" he chuckled.

"For fun, of course. Now, let's go! Let's go! Let's go!" we all went in different directions. As I got in the shower, I could hear Jasper going through my closet, then leaving. I could hear him go through Alice and Rosalie's rooms, before coming back. Eventually, he left again to go help Emmet and Edward. When I got out, I saw a cute, light blue, button-up blouse, and light wash, high-waisted, skinny jeans. After I was dressed, Jasper came back and did my make-up. I had a cat's eye in liquid eyeliner, and a smoky eye look. I had heavy mascara, light blush, and bright red lipstick. I slipped on my one-shoulder purse with my phone, wallet, lipstick, and a few other necessities. Jasper went back downstairs and continued to threaten Seth, I listened in.

"So, you'll treat her with respect?" Emmet said.

"Yes sir." Seth replied.

"And you will be sure to protect her?" Jasper quizzed.

"Of course." No question there.

"And you won't take it too far?" Edward interrogated.

"No sir." I could just tell he was blushing. That's when I chose to interrupt.

"Hey boys. What's up? Not giving poor Seth to hard of a time, I hope." I smirked at my brothers as they turned around and I saw Seth mouth the word 'help' to me from behind them.

"Of course not ickle Kitty-kat." Emmet grinned and winked at me.

"Only as far as you said we could take it." Edward replied.

"You told them to do this?" Seth's voice came from behind them.

"Of course. But it was only a joke. They wouldn't harm a single hair on your head after all the help you've given us. If they did, words would be said, and limbs would come off." I said, smiling at him as I moved forward and fixed his collar, which was turned in. He slung an arm around my shoulders, watching my brothers carefully for a reaction. I turned slightly and put one of my arms around his waist, resting my other hand on his chest. Just then, Alice and Rosalie walked in.

"Awww, you two are just too cute!" Alice exclaimed. Then her and Rosalie gasped.

"Are your brothers giving you a hard time? Move along, boys. Leave the lovebirds alone." Seth visibly relaxed as my brothers left.

"Well, you ready to start our date?" Seth asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be." I replied.
