How It Happened

"Wanna race?" I asked my brother Jasper.

"Sure, little sis." he replied while smiling.

"Yay yay yay! Love you Jas!" I yelled.

Then Alice walked up, "Ohhh! Can I referee?"

"Sure Alice." I grinned

"Alright! On your mark, get set, GO!" and we were off.

He can easily beat me even if I do jump to the trees and use my powers.

I saw the house. I looked at Edward who was laughing at our race.

"Shut up Eddie!" I yelled. He shut up. As I got to the house, I saw Jasper already standing there.

"Nice try half-pint!" Emmett grinned at me.

"Let's just go inside..." I mumbled.

"C'mon, you big baby." Jasper said as I playfully fake glared at him.

"Oh I suppose..." I smiled at my older brother.

"Hey Cullens! Guess who's back from vacation!" I heard the voice of my BFF Leah say.

"With her brother!" a male voice butted in.

I ran at my best friend and hugged her. I had missed her so much!

"Hey gi--" the male voice suddenly stopped. All of a sudden Edward, Emmett, and Leah were supporting a boy who was staring at me. Then there was a light bulb.

"Oh! Leah, this must be your kid brother Seth! Why is he staring at me?" I said.

"Nothing. Just say hi. He'll recover if you talk to him."

"Okay then... Hey Seth."

*************Seth's POV*************

I saw her and everything changed. It was like it was no longer gravity holding me to the earth, it was her. I would do anything, be anything, all for her. Whether she needed a friend, a brother, a protector, or a lover, I would be there.

Then I heard it. Her voice. My sight, which had been blurry since I saw her, steadily returned. My hearing and other senses quickly followed. All it took was her saying my name.

"Okay then... Hey Seth." I slowly stood and faced her.

"Oh, umm... hi, Katrina," I replied stupidly.

***********Katrina's POV************

As he stood up I got a good look at his face for the first time and DANG he was hot! Then I heard it. A low growl that came from none other than my best friend. I instinctively crouched in a defensive position. "How dare you! What happened to whenever, where ever, whatever, forever? You know, when ever you need me, where ever you need me, whatever you need me for, I will be there for you forever. I believe you're the one who said that."

"Yeah, but this is my little brother we're talking about!"

"What are you--? He didn't..." I said, realizing what she meant. "He couldn't have... On me...? No... Are you sure that he...?" then I realized with one look at my best friend's face that she knew for sure. And in that moment I had only one thought. I am Seth Clearwater's imprint. That thought repeated in my mind over and over again as I ran out the door refusing to look back.
