She's been waiting for him to respond for days now, 6 days without a call or a message from Blanket, the person she have known since day one of her life. The person who they believed would be the next king of pop, the king of music, the king of dance moves. That's exactly what they had talked about last time they saw each other. He and Rebecca had been walking around in Hayvenhurst, they had been talking about Michael, his dad and how much Blanket missed him, they both had sheared a tear. He hated the fact that they believed that he was going to take his fathers place as the king of pop. But he's not the only one who hates it. Paris and Prince hated it more than anyone else and they had started to grow hate for their younger brother. No one could take Michael's 'throne'.
The day seemed to go in slow motion as she still waited for his name to appear on her phone screen, but hours went and still nothing. Rebecca groaned in frustration, the last thing she said was 'I love you' but Blanket had never said it back, and that had hurt her a lot.
But she wasn't going to lose her best friend no matter what, no matter how sad he was, or grumpy he was Rebecca is still going to save him from drowning in pain from losing his father and arguing with his siblings. He's a part of her and like they had said so many times before
'Best friends forever, no matter what'
Did he even understand how much he meant to her?
