I stand up and head towards the stairs, just as I get to them I stop and stare at the ring and smile happily. It's beautiful.
Can't believe I'm finally getting married.
I walk up the stairs and head to the guest bedroom. I open the door walking in.
I walk over to the little desk and open the middle drawer grabbing the tickets wrapped in dachsund wrapping paper.
I put them in there knowing no one would go in there. I close the drawer and head out the room closing the door behind me and heading back downstairs.
I walk in the livingroom and the chatter ceases when everyone sees me.
I stand in the middle of the room holding the envelope and sucking in a breath and letting it out.
I turn to mom. "This present is special and I know I haven't been the best daughter and I'm sorry for that but I hope this makes up for it somewhat. I can't wait to share this experience with you. I'm not even gonna say I hope you like or enjoy it cause I know you will."
She sits on the couch watching me confusedly. I bite my lip nervously. I don't even know why I'm nervous.
I take a deep breath and reach my hand out. It shaking slightly. She still looks confused but takes it hesitantly. I don't know why I'm scared she won't like it cause I know she will.
She 'awes' at the brown dachshunds with Santa hats, before lightly feeling the gift to determine what it is.
Finally, she carefully starts peeling the paper off, until she gets to the envelope.
She looks at me questionably. I just gesture for her to open it. I feel Austin wrap his arms around my waist and I lean back into him.
This moment feels like its going in slow motion. I quickly take my phone out and put it on video and hand it to Austin to record. It's very intense, everyone waiting to see what it is.
I smile and watch as she slowly slides her finger under the flap tearing the glue sealing the envelope. I see Austin standing a few feet away recording the whole scene.
Finally, she opens the flap and looks inside. She looks at me with a brow furrowed.
"What is it?"
"Take it out and find out." I say smiling widely excited to see her reaction.
It's so quiet as she reaches in and pulls the paper out. She brings it to her face and reads it.
Suddenly, her eyes widen and her mouth drops open.
"Are you kidding me? Is this for real? Tell me this isn't a joke?" She says looking at me in disbelief.
I laugh with a huge smile on my face. "No I'm not kidding you. It's for real and I'm not joking. You really are going."
She gasps. "I'm going to see Toby Keith!"
I laugh. "Did you notice your seats?"
She looks back at the paper and eyes going wide.
"No way!!! Floor A, Row 3?"
I nod. "I'm sorry it's not front row those were takin. Row 3 was the closet I could get. But at least you can get some pretty good pics up his nose though." I say laughing.
"I don't care I'm gonna be so close to Toby."
She has no idea. I decide to wait and tell her about the backstage passes. I at least want to keep some surprises to myself.
She stands up and hugs me.
"Thank you so much. I love you. Best present ever." I just smile and hug her back.
"You're welcome. I love you to. Glad I made you happy. Can't wait for all the fun we'll have."
She goes and sits back down reading the paper again.
Austin hands me my phone and we go and cuddle in the recliner. He kisses my cheek.
"Thank you again for saying yes."
"Awe. Of course I said yes. Do you know how long I waited for you to ask that question?" I kiss him quickly and ignore the gagging noises my brothers are making. "I love you."
"I love you to." He says pulling me into him tightening his arms around me. I smile at how happy I am, enjoying the moment and next few weeks knowing he will be leaving in a month and a half. I frown at the thought but quickly smile not wanting to ruin the moment.
Everyone sits around and talks for a while longer. Our family and friends slowly start to leave.
Eventually, Austin and I are the only ones left. We decide to stay the night since we both are tired and don't feel like driving.
Luckily, we have some clothes here from previous times we stayed over.
We tell everyone good night deciding to head to bed early. When we get up stairs we head into the room and change into night clothes.
I yawn. "Today was eventful."
"It sure was." Austin said pulling me to him hugging me and kissing my forehead.
I hear my brothers heading upstairs and the door opens, Jared popping his head in.
"Not to loud you two."
I roll my eyes. "Get out!"
He laughs and closes the door.
We turn off the light and climb in bed falling asleep cuddling each other.

A/nThis took a few days to write.
Writers block plus busy with kids (niece and nephews crazy little things keep aunt Tina on her toes lol) and learning to drive (fun fun going well for the most part still things that need work on lol.)
It's 4 am insomnia sucks most of my stories are written between 1 and 4 am that's when my ideas run wild also why this chapter was all over the place (why all my chapters and stories are all over the place haha)
That Austina(?) (Can't decide on a good ship name right now) moment at the end. Awwww they're so cute love them. Little brothers are annoying BTW that is definitely a Jared thing to do lmao.
Ummmm can't think of anything else right now sooooo until next chapter.
