Love or hate (Rucas fanfic)

(Chapter 1) Why?

~Rileys POV~

I remembered how it hurt, looking at myself in the mirror, wondering why did everybody in school bully me for the past year, I have only two friends, Maya and Farckle, they've always been their for me, whenever I'm sad or bullied, I even talked to the teachers and school councillor's for help, but the kids kept giving me a harder time, I even thought this year everything would change, but it was still the same. I never new how it all started and why everyone kept doing this to me, but I hope one day, it'll all come to an end. I was sitting at my window with Maya by my side

"What am I going to do?", I said

"I'm sorry but I don't know", said Maya

"Maybe we can go to my mom's cafe", I said

So we went out the window, and came to my mom's cafe, we sat down and had ice cream, then Farckle came and started talking to us

"Ladies", he said

"Farckle", me and Maya said at the same time

"So how have you been lately?", he said

"Great", said Maya

"Still the same as always", I said

"Come on Riley, you can't keep on fighting your own battles", said Maya

"Yeah, and are you sure that there is nothing we can do?", said Farckle

"It's Ok guys, but I've been wondering for a while, since everybody from school hates me so much, and I don't know why, how come you guys don't pick on me?", I said

"Riley, we've seen what you can do", said Maya

"Yeah, your sweet, funny, and goofy, and that's what we love about you", said Farckle

I have finally got my answer for my lifes most biggest question, after wondering for so long, but that was only the first half, the other half is why can't the other kids see what Maya and Farckle see in me?

So as we where talking while eating ice-cream, my dad came with a worried look on his face

"Riley I'm sick and tired of the other kids hurting you, why can't we talk about this?", he said

"Dad please let me handle this", I said

"No, why can't we for once talk about something about what's happening in your life right now?",he said

"Because your a teacher, and already if I tell on them, then they'll just keep giving me a harder time", I said

"Well we can talk to their parents about this, can we?", he said

"I don't know uf that would work or not", I said

While he was thinking of way's in helping me, nobody spoke, not even Farckle who always has good ideas

While my dad was thinking, I snuck out of the cafe, and went deep into central park, I went to a place to where nobody goes to anymore, back then when I was 6 years old, me and my family built a tree-house just for me, but since nobody comes here anymore, I come here. So I just sat in there thinking about why my dad cares so much? Why is all this happening in my life?

Then my phone rang, it was my mom calling me

"Riley sweetie,where are you? Please come home, we're worried sick", she said

So I climbed down the lader, snuck out so nobody finds my "hide out", and made it to the subway. While I held on to one of the railings, I saw a boy about my age, he was reading a book, and looked like a nice guy. I didn't even know if he went to our school, or if he's a new kid, but he looked like a nice guy

Then the subway train made a turn which made me loose my balance, then I fell on the boy's lap, I didn't know what to say, or what to do, so I just played it cool

"Hi", I said shyly and sadly

"You", he hissed back

Then he threw me on the ground in a violent way, I fell on my face, but I managed to get up

"If I hear you hurt innocent children again, I'll hurt you real bad", he said

Innocent children? That's one I've never heard before, but after he threw on the ground he does sound like somebody who goes to our school

After I made it home, Maya, Farckle, and my parents started hugging me, except for my little brother Auggie, he never tells people that I'm his sister cause already he's embarrassed of me

After the hugging, Maya and Farckle came with me to my, and I told them everything about what happened in the subway train, and what he said to me.
