Chapter 4

I woke up to the sound of car tyres screeching and a person talking. I looked up and saw I was in a car with 2 boys and a girl around the same age as me, 15.

The girl was in the passenger seat. She looked back at me and saw I was awake.

"Hello Freya. My name's Leyavande." She said politely.

We stopped all of a sudden at a red light.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?!" Screamed Leyavande turning her head to the boy in the drivers seat.

"It's a red light. I don't wanna get a fine. Duh." Said the boy in the driver's seat.

"THERE ARE NO RED LIGHTS IN A CAR CHASE!!!!!" Yelled Leyavande. She made the boy move over to the passenger seat, and Leyavande moved over to the driver's seat.
Leyavande started to drive WAY faster.

I was in the back seat with another boy.

"Hi, my name's Logan." The boy said smiling.

"Umm... What am I doing here? Where are Sara and Alec? And how does she know my name?" I asked.

"Ok I'll answer the first one first. We saw you fighting the Clampire and when you blacked out, we got a call from your foster parents saying: please help Freya. Help her save the world. Second question: Sara and Alec left because the Clampire was getting too close to them. And they took your horse too." Answered Logan.

"What's a Clampire?" I asked.

"It's the evil vampire, Ravine's, henchmen." Replied Logan. "Last question: Freya, the world is at risk of being taken over by Ravine. We need you to help us take him down before the world ends."

The car pulled to a stop and we all jumped out of the car and walked into a building.

"Hi I'm Harry, and this is headquarters." Said Harry.

"As I was saying before, we all have powers. Leyavande can talk to animals and has a..." A big golden retriever came up to Leyavande and she patted it.

"Freya, this is my dog, Otto." Said Leyavande looking down at Otto. "He has powers too. Otto, speak!" Otto barked so loud it made the lights flicker.

"Whoa cool!!!" I said as I patted Otto.

"I can move things with my mind." Said Logan showing off his powers as he moved a lamp off the ground.

I nodded, impressed. I thought it was quite obvious that Logan liked me.

"I have super strength." Said Harry as he punched the wall leaving a hand mark.

I knew I was going to fit in here. This was my new home.
