Into The Night [completed]

Chapter 8

Lopez and I took a break at a little cottage house with a little stable attached to the side of it. We decided to stay there a couple of nights. I unpacked all of my things and got Lopez comfy.

"What! No water bowl?!" I said. "Better go and get you some then boy."

I walked out to get some water from a creek or something. But I took Lopez with me.

I found a river about 7 minutes away from the cottage. I started to fill up the bowls with water when I heard voices across the river. I looked up to see Ravine and his Clanpires.

"Find the girl and bring her back alive!" Said Ravine as the Clampires scattered the Forest.

My eyes widened as I ran back to the cottage.

I packed everything again and ran to go get Lopez. I turned on my heel and there standing in front of me was a Clampire.

"Damn." I mumbled myself.

The Clampire hit me in the chest and I got winded. I gasped for air as he punched me in the nose making it bleed. I summoned a fireball and threw it at him, hitting his legs. He spun around with his leg out, tripping me over. I laid on my back and groaned.

"Nighty night, princess!!!" The Clampire chuckled in his golem-like voice. He bit down on my neck and I blacked out.
