Friends are the people we care about,
Even if we live our lives on doubt,
Even if we always feel alone,
We always know there is a someone,
Someone to make our hearts weigh less than a depressing ton,
They come into our lives,
And each one at a time teaches us a lesson,
When they fulfill their place in our lives,
They leave us,
even though they don't leave entirely,
It feels like they're gone forever,
This stings like a thousand knives,
Each time someone leaves it rips us a part,
From the inside out,
But they still have a place,
As we make it through life at our own pace,
They make us laugh,
They make us cry,
They help us get by,
Day after day flys by,
There they are standing at our side,
We create special memories, moments, to cherish,
To learn from, to cry over,
They all find a place,
They all play a part,
Bit by bit,
Helping us become who we are,
Without them in our life, sometimes we would be nothing,
Nothing without them,
Friends come and go,
But the friends that stay are true,
This is why it hurts,
It hurts to loose one,
Someone special, someone dear,
Cherish these friends while you can,
Someday you may really find yourself truly alone,
Even if you find yourself so, so, desperately alone,
There has to be someone there to cry on,
Even if they don't understand,
A friend should almost always be there,
To make life seem somewhat fair.

PoetryA tribute to my friends and everyone else's friends. Just thinking about friends makes me think of adventure time, Fairy tail, and how I met your mother. Lol.
