Dear World,
We just stared.
He made his way to me.
I wanted to run back inside and cry again.
But my feet felt like they were stuck to the ground.
"I'm so sorry." He whispered.
"What for?" I asked my voice caught up in my throat.
"I messed up." He stared at his feet drawing circles in the ground.
"On what?" Tears threatened to fall down my face.
"Us." He looked up and he gave me a slow kiss.
I closed my eyes.
The world froze.
My heart stopped.
And he pulled away.
I opened my eyes and saw him walking away down the street.
