It's Complicated

Chapter 3

As I parked my car in my drive way, I noticed my neighbor had finally moved in, it looked like a girl my age but with wavy, light brown hair and deep blue eyes. I decided to say something to her.
"Hi!" I said as I waved to her.
"Oh hey!" She said, waving back with the hand that wasn't carrying a box. She put the box down and approached over to me.
"Hi, I'm Aris!" She said, extending her hand.
"Hey, Sienna." I said, shaking her hand.
"Nice neighborhood you got here!" She said, observing a few houses.
"Haha, yeah." I said also observing our neighbors.
"I just moved here from Arizona, huge weather switch." She said, slightly shrugging at me.
"Haha I bet, Ohio and Arizona don't exactly have the same weather." I responded as we both laughed.
"Hey so do you go to Lake Shore High?" She asked me carefully.
"Oh! Yeah I do, you?" I asked back.
"Oh my gosh, that's great because I do as well!" She said, seeming more happy.
"Woah cool!" I said, smiling at her.
"Well I better continue unpacking, and here's my number!" She said handing me a piece of paper.
"Okay! Good luck!" I said waving as I walked away.
She waved back, picking up the box, carrying it inside.
I unlocked my front door and made my way upstairs to my room.
My room was a rose gold color with matching bedding and curtains.
I flopped onto my bed, pulling out Aris' phone number, texting her.
Sienna: hey so I was just wondering if you wanted to meet some people I met today? Saturday @ 2:00? I'll pick you up?
Aris immediately responded.
Aris: yeah sure, cya then!
Sienna: ok great, bye!
I turned off my phone, looking at the time. It was around 5:00.
I decided to watch re-runs of the voice and eat some popcorn. This lasted until about 9:00.
I took off all my makeup and slide into my cheer shorts and an oversized fall out boy t shirt as my pajamas. I crawled into bed, drifting to sleep.
