It's Complicated

Chapter 4

My alarm went off at around 11:00 in the morning. As I slide out of my pajamas and into my running clothes and tennis shoes, I went for a run for about 40 minutes. Once I got home, I had to sneak into my sisters room to pick out a nice outfit for today. I decided on a black skirt, a white half top, and matching white sandals. Once I put all my clothes on, I just looked up simple make up looks. I decided on a shimmery eye shadow with a slight cat wing. I just curled my hair and put it into a high ponytail. I looked at myself in the mirror and I didn't even recognize myself. At around 1:35 I pulled up in front of Aris' house. As I looked down the road I saw someone familiar, I had seen him before, he was in my geometry class. I didn't know his name though, as I looked back at Aris' house, she came outside. She was wearing a pair of black skinny jeans, black vans, and a navy floral blouse.
"Heya Sienna!" Aris said as she entered my car.
"Hi Aris, you ready to meet a girl I met yesterday?" I asked as I adjusted my rear view mirror.
"Yep! We better get going!" Aris said, smiling towards me.
I started the engine and drove to the address Allie gave me.
I pulled up in front of a huge white condo. It had a double garage with a expensive car parked in the driveway, I assumed it was Allie's. Me and Aris looked at each other and shrugged, getting out of the car. We approached the huge front doors, ringing the door bell. Allie opened the door, wearing a light purple dress.
"Hey Sienna! Who's this?" Allie asked, looking at Aris.
"Hi, I'm Aris!" Aris said, waving at Allie.
"Come in, my friend Anna's in my room upstairs." Allie said.
"Okay!" I said, smiling.
As we entered Allie's house, I noticed the designer black and white future and huge glass chandeliers dangling from the ceiling. We went up a set of stairs and into her room.
"Anna, this is Sienna and Aris!" Allie said as she gestured towards us.
Anna had dirty blonde hair with dark green eyes. She was wearing a under armor hoodie with a pair of black leggings.
"Nice to meet you both!" Anna said to us.
"You too!" I said.
"So, Aris I assume you'll be going to our high school?" Anna questioned her.
"Oh! Yeah actually!" Aris responded.
"Cool!" Allie said with a smile.
"So do you guys do any sports?" Anna asked.
"No." I said to her.
"Nope." Aris said.
"What! OMG you have to try out for a sport!" Allie exclaimed.
"Eh, maybe." Aris said to her.
"Yeah.." I said slowly.
I may seem different from a day ago at school, but I was still the same shy girl who never talked to anyone, I guess Friday was just a good luck day.
