She's acting strange

Chapter Five

"Ha. Ha. Ha. Very funny Em" Hanna said sarcastically, "Who is it really?"
"I was being serious Han, it's Toby Cavanaugh."
"But Spencer hates Toby" Aria chimed in.
"Correction: hated, she hated him and now she doesn't." Emily argued.
"How did that happen?" Asked Hanna, who was still doubtful that her friend was in love with a criminal.
"Toby is a sweet guy"
" Who went to jail for blinding his stepsister" Aria spoke in a hushed tone.
"Yeah, but he didn't actually do that, did he?" Emily sneered.
The table went silent.
"I'm sorry guys," Emily apologized. "I didn't mean to-"
"It's okay, Alison made us all do stupid things." Hanna cut off.
"We don't know for sure if it's Toby," Emily added.
"So how do we find out for sure?" Asked Aria.
Hanna's response was almost immediate. "I have a plan."
