Jack's P.O.V.

The next day.......

I spent all day unpacking and fixing everything. The place still looks old but it can look livable.

I'm walking around the neighborhood and starting to get familiar with my surroundings until I stop at an office. I guess this is where people give their complaints or something. When I go inside, I see employees typing things on a computer, people complaining to customer service, security guards on every door, and a bulletin board with a lot of papers attached to it. People put things that they want sell, events and announcements. One poster caught my eye.

'Join Timeline! This is the perfect club for you to remember all of the happiest moments in your life.'

This seems like a lame club. They never heard of photographs or videos. You can remember all the happiest moments in your life just by looking at a photo or watching a video. You don't need a stupid club in order to be happy. Happiness happens on its own; you don't need something to make you happy.

Laura's P.O.V.

I was walking to offices when I see my new neighbor. I just hate him and I don't know why but something about him seems so familiar. He's interesting in a way that I can't understand. He seems to be looking at the bulletin and looked at the poster. He looked at it for about 3-5 minutes before walking away.

When he was gone, I went to one of the offices and approached a woman who was about in their mid 30's.

"My name is Jocelyn, how may I help you?" she says in a peppy attitude and a fake smile. She's technically being paid to smile and pretend like she cares about what people think but in reality, she doesn't.

"I need some information about my new neighbor." I say getting straight to my purpose.

"What's his name and address?" she asks while looking in her computer.

"I don't know his name but his address is 36 Eastwood Lane."

"Oh, I don't have new information but the house was never bought. It is still owned by the Anderson Family. They moved but they still kept the house. May I ask your relation to them?" She tells me.

"I'm there cousin." I lie.

"Oh I see but this all the information about them." She says.

"Oh..... Thanks" I say a little disappointed. I wanted a little more information.

I guess that he must be a relative. That's probably why he was so familiar. It's weird though how they never sold their house. What is the point of keeping it if you're never returning? Probably for whomever that guy was.

"YES!!" I hear a girly shout. I see a couple in a park and they are hugging each other. I see everyone gawking over them. The couple pulls away and the guy slips a ring into her finger. Oh, that's why she said yes. The guy proposed. They say I love you to each other.

"I love you."

I remember when hearing that sentence coming from Jack's mouth made the butterflies inside my stomach go crazy. I remember when he first said it to me. It was a memory to always remember.

-Flashback-

Jack and I have been dating for a week but we're just in the 'like' stage. We're just kids; we don't know anything about love so it's really a scary word to use. He is taking me on our first date today. He told me to wear something between causal and formal and no heels. I still don't understand why he hates them. I fixed myself up and that took around half an hour. I'm not one of those girls who take so long.
