Mining Adventure

Chapter 4
Jade's POV

Tonight is gonna be difficult... I tossed and turned in bed and waited for myself to fall asleep. Maybe I jinxed it. Maybe. I lay still and just as I closed my eyes... The beeper for my Wattpad rang. I jumped up and looked at my phone for awhile and I picked it up...

Jazz was texting me...

Jazz : Hey, sorry but... I can't sleep!

Me : Yeah I know... it's already

I glance at the clock.

Me: 11:45 pm..

Jazz : You jinxed it.

Me : Did not!

New Message (1)

Opal : Jade. I told my secret

I switch to Opal's message.

Me : What?! Who?

Opal : My sis... it's okay. She won't tell.
Besides I 'drilled' her already... I mean... you know... told her not to tell anyone...

New Message (1)

Jazz : Jade... I'm gonna go to bed and try again. I'll cya..um.. I dunno when but I hope we see each other later. Bye.

Me : Goodnight!

I switch back to Opal.

Me : Okay,I'm..whoa..I feel very tired all of a sudden though..

Opal : Maybe... it's the dream... again... yeah. Kinda tired. I hope I see you-

(Logs Off)

Me : Oh wow. She's asleep. I mean, you're asleep.

I yawned and rubbed my eyes. That was a Long text... then I closed my eyes and felt myself falling.

I jumped up and saw Opal shaking me.

"W-What is it.?"I murmured and Jazz yelled,
"Wakey Wakey.!!Let's go."

I stood up and Opal rubbed her arm where the arrow was.
"Where are we going.?" I yawned and Opal tossed me some pork chops.

"To find some diamonds... of course... I could use a sword."Jazz said and Opal tossed her an iron sword. She gave me a iron helmet and a pair of butter boots.

"Shiny."I said and put them on.
"Don't have diamonds... sorry." Opal shrugged and tossed Jazz the same type or armour.

"Let's go mining then." I said and armed with our iron picks, we headed down into a nearby cave.

"Dead End...again." Jazz sighed and I lifted up my hand for the soft glow of purple magic.
"Oookay... and there!" Opal said and pointed to some diamonds at the other end of the lava.
"No one's falling into that." I said and I made a 3 blocks wide bridge.

"Remember, please don't die. You won't get back into the real world." Opal mewed and I nodded.
"Thank you Miss Positive." Then we walked across and Jazz mined the diamonds.

"Hissss.."

A creeper!
"Watch out.!" I pushed Jazz to the left and an explosion knocked me off my feet and my left hand dipped into the burning hot lava.

"Oh my god Jade.!"Opal shrieked and quickly pulled my arm into a pool of water nearby.Ssss..."Ouch."I muttered and Jazz quickly lit up a torch.
"T-thank you..for...you know..helping me with that creeper."she stammered nervously and I smiled.
"It's okay.." I winced as Opal gave me some milk to drink.

"Can you mine.?" Opal asked and I nodded. I switched to my right hand and we continued mining. Luckily, no one else was hurt and soon we found a dungeon with a zombie spawner... I punched one zombie with my right hand and Opal hit it on the head with a shovel. (Which was badass if it could take out a zombie.)

"Melon seeds and some saddles...one diamond." Jazz said and she opened another chest.
"Diamond Horse Armour and a iron chestplate." She said and gave them to me.
"No way. Give it to Opal. She doesn't have any armour except for her iron boots.

"Thanks."she said gratefully and I smiled.
"Hissss.." Creeper.!
"NOT AGAIN!" Opal groaned and she shot a beam of electric-looking light at the creeper.

"Easy." She said and Jazz held up two diamonds.
"Can we make a sword now? Could use some more protection." She asked and I nodded, placing down a crafting table and a few sticks.

"There." Jazz said and held up a diamond sword.
Suddenly, I heard someone taking out a sword and I turned to find a iron sword pressed against my throat.

"Who the hell are you.?" The girl said and everyone froze as smoke came sweeping into the dungeon we were in and formed a shape.

"Now,don't do anything funny or else Herobrine here will kill you.
Explain." The girl said slowly and Herobrine shrugged.

"As much as I would like to kill someone, I can't. The rule,remember? Besides, Roe, you're choking her." He sighed and I felt the blade loosen a bit.

"Sorry about that."the girl shrugged and I saw that she was a ocelot hybrid. Like Opal.

"I suppose that's your Boyfriend Roe.?"Opal giggled and Roe looked at Herobrine.
"Of course and I'm not afraid to say so." Roe said.
"Explain."

I gulped and told her everything and Herobrine looked amused.
"Interesting. But I've heard enough stories." He said and Roe let me go after I explained everything.

"Wattpad Authors? I only come once in awhile too.I'm Roe829  well,I'm here to visit Herobrine here." She said and Herobrine waved.
"So you're the mythical Herobrine right.?" Opal asked and he nodded then he held Roe's hand. (Although I felt entirely uncomfortable around him)

Then, Roe nodded.
"I come in my dreams as Herobrine said. Lucid Dreaming... but I have to be careful because if I injure myself here, I'll do so in real life."

I looked at Jazz and explained what happened again.

"Dreaming then. But it's natural instincts... people who write books go into their own books every now and then. But it's very rare and Herobrine brought me. He said that it's either you transport here by yourselves or... someone brought you." Roe said and I shivered.
"Could you put away the sword now?" I asked and she lowered the sword.

"Sorry. Roe here, sometimes become over-protective." Herobrine said and eyed me warily.
"It's either my stupid Brother pulled you guys or its..." He shook his head and looked away quickly.
"Nevermind but..how do we get out?I don't want to-" Opal said and we were interrupted by a huge storm of cobblestone...

I covered my face and shook off the dust from my arms.
"Oh crap.It's a ogre!" I coughed and it roared before coming over towards us.

"Run!" I yelled and Herobrine took out a scythe.
"Yeah, run. Quick, I'll hold it off. It's the same one that I fought last time... remember Roe?"

"Yeah right, Pro." Roe smirked and quickly took us down a hallway while Herobrine took down the monster...
